"I was most impressed with The Shores at Clear Lake. I like the activities and its proximity to my home. I thought it was a very clean place. The staff was very friendly. They were very accommodating. That would have been the one I would have chosen for my husband if I had to put him in a facility. I looked at the menu and it looked very appetizing. I was very pleased with that one, and that would have been the one I chose. I talked to the sales representative. She was very friendly, very helpful, and followed up to check and make sure that things were going okay even though I said I didn't know if I was going to do it or not. I thought they were very helpful. The staff seemed pleasant with the people who were there. And the people there seemed very happy."

"Brookdale Pearland is a beautiful facility. It's well maintained. It has activities. The cafeteria was nice. They seemed to have everything in place, but it was private pay. The staff answered all my questions. She took the time out of her day when I dropped in without an appointment. I also had people call me back for details that I had questions about. They have a nice little dining area, and they all seemed engaged. They had some activities, but I don't remember if they had a therapy room or anything like that."

"The Cottages at Clear Lake has been phenomenal. They've been wonderful with my husband, very caring, and very attentive, and everybody's involved. They're on top of where everybody is. The entire staff has just been incredible. I'm very happy that he was there. I wish he were going back, but he's not. It was a great experience for all of us. We all enjoyed everybody, the staff, and even the people who were in there. It was an extremely satisfying stay for him. When you walk in the front door, there's a big great room that has couches, and it's very well lit with lots of windows and a beautiful piano. One of the residents there is an amazing piano player. Then you kind of walk into a hallway to another great room where the fireplace is, where they do their daily activities, their church service on Sundays, games, bingo, and trivia. There are two wings, and each wing has its own kitchen and dining room table, and it's a family dining experience. They know where you are. If you're missing, they know you are missing. It's more of a community. The rooms are not huge, but they don't need to be. He's been in a shared room, and he's been the only one there. It has its own private bathroom, with a shower and everything, your storage area and your closet. Everybody has been so amazing. I haven't eaten there, but they have a chef on staff who has his own kitchen, and they do all the meal prep. He has sometimes eaten more than one plateful, so I think it's fine. They cater to whatever the needs of the resident are. They get snacks daily. I think that their activities and the things they do and how they incorporate everybody, and how they incorporate family members are good. They have fulfilled everything."

"The Park At Bay Area was pretty nice. It was an impressive walkthrough. They have so many different sections in there, plus the living section toward the back end was more like your own private apartment kind of situation. They said it's set up for couples if they wanna come. It's like maybe five on each side of a walkway, and it was very nice. They had an outdoor seating area for them. I was very impressed with that one, plus it's close to where we are. It would be easy to visit. It was great. I met with the manager or head person and a worker who was behind the desk, and then they gave me a tour at that time. My interest is the cleanliness of the place, the way the staff might interact with the residents there, and I was impressed with everything."

"Large apartments. Liked the colors and light interior. Went with a friend to look at two or three apartments. The food was good. Everyone was very nice. The people who live there talked nice about the place and seemed very happy. If I lived closer I would live here! My friend is probably move in before the end of the summer."

"I moved into this community in Nov 2024 and it has been my best decision yet. The open concept space of my apartment, the security of the property, the friendliness of the staff and the true family and friendship feeling of this residential community. You will love it here as much as I do."

"I chose here for my husband, because they had a memory care and it was an established place where people are happy. What I liked the best about it is the caregivers. They are caring, loving, and they take good care of the residents. They have good activities, but there's just not enough of them. The facilities are very nice, and they have very good food. It's also the closest one to me, and it's right by a hospital."

"Everywhere Is Home is truly like home for your loved one. The staff is very caring and treat their residents like family. My husband grew to love each and every one of the staff and enjoyed having some of their children come in and even call him “Grandpa” at his request. He loved to interact with the kids. The staff would get him up and put him in the common area where he could watch them cook and of course, offer his ideas. He would often join in singing with one of the caretakers and they would watch his favorite shows together. At holidays, they always threw a party for the residents and their family with great food and gifts all around depending on the occasion. The owner is absolutely wonderful, easy to work with, very caring and he is good to the residents and staff as well. It was always very reassuring to know that the owner was there as well as each of the staff members. I never worried about my husband while he was there. It was a joy to deal with the people there and I too felt like family and still do."

"My husband lives at Trinity Oaks of Pearland. I love that most of the people working there have been there for 10+ years, and there's a lot of camaraderie, and they know the residents in a way that you can't if you've just worked there a year or so. These are people with history and they're very caring. They've been super supportive of my husband as he struggles to learn his way from his apartment to the dining room and that kind of thing. I just can't think of a single thing about this community that I don't admire. They do a really great job. My husband wasn't eating real food before he moved there, only milk and snacks. I hoped that being in a group setting would encourage him to eat, and it worked. Now, he's eating more, which I find excellent. The building is older and it shows signs sometimes of buildings like that, but that's not a turnoff for me. As far as cleanliness, there's no lingering smells of either disinfectant or urine. So, as far as I'm concerned, they're doing a great job. I know on their activity schedule there's a lot going on. I've seen people watching movies, playing dominoes, playing cards, and playing bingo. But my husband doesn't participate in any of that because of his memory."

"Orchard Park at Victory Lakes was very nice. The staff was very friendly. The facilities were clean and lovely. It's a beautiful place. They would be in my top three or four picks. What we loved about it was it was so close. The staff was also very nice and on the ball. We came early because we said we needed a different time than what we had scheduled, and they were very accommodating. They have a library and so many different activities available for the residents. It just looked like a very nice place. The layout of the room would have been perfect for my dad. We were going to look for an individual rather than a shared room at each of the places, and their room was very nice."

"I toured Morada Deer Park. It was very clean and well-kept. It's high-end, but the rent would go up depending on your specific needs. They offer lots of amenities. The staff and accommodations are very friendly. They had security, and the option to choose whether they wanted to have a camera in their apartment, was great. Morada Deer Park was beautiful."

"The rooms are nice and adequate for our loved ones needs. The food seems agreeable to the needs. Fruit of some kind would be a nice, healthy addition. We cannot say enough kind words to describe how helpful, loving and supported we feel by every staff member we have encountered here - specifically Andrea who works 6 tasks simultaneously at times with a smile!"

"We loved The Reserve at Pearland, but it was private pay, and there was no way we could cover that. Chloe was the sales director who toured us, and she is very likable. She has a great personality. The facility is beautiful and clean. The rooms are private little homes, like apartments, so they have little kitchen areas and everything. It's extremely nice, but it's all private pay. Chloe worked very hard to try to make us a good deal, but we couldn't cover it. It was very expensive. I would love to put my mother in that facility. They have a beautiful garden area with big magnolia trees."
