"the facility and staff seemed to be good. the staff seemed to genually care about the residence. my grandfather never had any complaints about the facility other than issues with being able to navigate his electric chair. he also said he wished he could have better food but then again he was on a heart healthy diet. the staff did a good job at makeing sure that any health related issues that arrouse with my grandfather were promptly attended to by a doctor. i liked how they decorated for the holidays it seemed to give my grandfather a feeling of being at home. they also had a good schedual of activities for him to participate in through out the day. all in all the facility did a good job at providing my grandfather with a comfortable life that we would not have ben able to provide him in home "

"I toured The Legacy Retirement Community. Everything was fine until it came to the requirements for a dog. Shadow is a big dog. He weighs 65 pounds, but they want a 35-pound dog or smaller, so that's just not going to work. It looked very nice. The rooms were nice and relatively roomy. However, when I found out about the dog situation because I was upfront about that, then that pretty well put an end to pursuing it any further because my mother was not going to go without her dog. The amenities were very nice. When you walk into the front foyer, there's a piano, it's wide open, and there are a lot of old folks hanging out. The assisted living care in the back, where residents were like in apartments, could come and go as they pleased, and those were relatively nice, too."
