I toured The Legacy Retirement Community. Everything was fine until it came to the requirements for a dog. Shadow is a big dog. He weighs 65 pounds, but they want a 35-pound dog or smaller, so that's just not going to work. It looked very nice. The rooms were nice and relatively roomy. However, when I found out about the dog situation because I was upfront about that, then that pretty well put an end to pursuing it any further because my mother was not going to go without her dog. The amenities were very nice. When you walk into the front foyer, there's a piano, it's wide open, and there are a lot of old folks hanging out. The assisted living care in the back, where residents were like in apartments, could come and go as they pleased, and those were relatively nice, too.
