"We had a pleasant experience at Heritage park of Katy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Therapists worked diligently to provide treatment for our loved one and made sure we were informed of the progress throughout the recovery process. We were very pleased with the facility from the food to the staff. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a short term or long term stay for a loved one."

"My father has been at Sterling Oaks Rehabilitation for two weeks now. They're doing everything. They're taking care of him, they're feeding him, they're providing activities and they're giving him his medicines. His room is very nice and very clean. The staff members are very friendly and caring. They do workouts, crafts, and outings. Everything looks good, but we're new to it."

"I toured VibraLife of Katy, it looked great. It's probably one of the places I was leaning toward compared to the other ones. They're very nice and the facility looks very updated. They had on-site meals and they do little activities. They would take certain groups if they decide whether they're going to go shopping one day or to a park one day. They did some outside activities that were pretty nice. Their apartments were only rooms, like a motel. It's just a small room with a small closet, some had a little kitchenette and some didn't, and then a bathroom. They're pretty basic, so we decided to look at others."

"My mother entered care here on April 19, 2022. I have been extremely pleased thus far. Any issues are addressed quickly. She is on a feeding tube so can’t comment on the food or activities. Her roommate enjoys the food. The Director of Nursing, Stella, is excellent! They need to be sure and pay her well. You will find her in meetings, on the floor doing rounds, changing diapers and even mopping up urine. Ashley is one of the many outstanding nurses there and also goes above and beyond. The facility is well maintained and clean. The receptionist is askesys pleasant and very knowledgeable about the goings on at the facility. I would recommend Brighton Senior Luving. "

"We liked Oakmont Healthcare and Rehab Center of Katy. Because it was a whole nursing home as opposed to a residential place, there was more freedom of movement for my dad, and they had planned activities. It was nice. We looked at shared rooms, but we didn't tour any private rooms. It's an institutional set-up, but the rooms were nice. They felt like nice bedrooms. The staff members were amazing, too. They were very friendly, helpful, and eager to answer our questions. I also looked at their dining room, common area, and activity room."

"The nurse staffing, the CNAs, and everybody else was great with my father and our family. I have no complaints whatsoever, and I would definitely recommend Legend Oaks to anybody that needs a place for their parents. They are constantly attending to him. The rooms are very comfy. He is in a semi-private room that has a big bathroom, and each of them has their own dresser, closet, TV, and telephone. He is happy with the service in the dining room. He gets a variety of everything, but his diet is restricted. I've never seen anybody complain about the food. As we walked the hallways, it's clean and there is no smell. It doesn't even smell like a hospital, so we liked it. "

"My mom has been to rehab at Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation. It was good, and the staff was very patient, attentive, and caring. They worked with Mom in her physical and occupational therapy and did a pretty good job. My mom had a roommate, and there are usually 2 people in a room -- which is not huge but pretty decent-sized. They had lots of activities like Bingo, sing-alongs, and outings to places like museums, so it's a pretty good place. "

"The aides and the nurses at Brighton Senior Living of Cypress were great. They were concerned about my husband's breathing when he was there. We just had a problem. They had given him a paper, which he didn't tell me about. We were on self-pay and it was a mix-up there. Once I figured it out, I paid them and everything was fine, but there was a little miscommunication. Other than that, as I said, the aides and the nurses were all great. The food was not the best. My husband was not supposed to have spicy or fried foods. One day when I came in, he had fried fish, french fries, and hushpuppies. Everything was fried. Sometimes the food was good, sometimes it's just not so good. His room was kept clean and he had to have a bariatric bed. He got plenty of room and everything. That was a nice room. At one time, they had an outage on the cable and it took maybe two weeks to get it back up. We weren't the only ones complaining. I think all the residents asked what they could do. Of course, if you're bedridden, there's not much you can do, but watch TV. Then they had an outage on the phone. He had a phone and he would usually call me at night or if there was a day I didn't come up or something, but that went out and they never got that fixed. A few times when they did physical therapy, they took him to the physical therapy room where they had the exercise machines. They'd gotten him in a lift and got him in a wheelchair and took him there to do some work. The facility was nice. It's been kept clean. I've been in some places before, visiting other people and it smells bad, but this place never smelled bad. I think the upkeep was good."

"My sister has been a resident of Cypress Creek for the past 5 months. She has had a great experience here, the care is great, the food is good and the cleanliness is too. She is happy that she decided to move here. She doesn’t use the amenities or activities due to her condition but she hopes to at some point. "

"My friend moved to Park Manor of Cyfair. The place is very clean. They've all been very friendly and organized. The staff is competent and willing to help. The place is spotlessly clean inside and out. When you walk in, you will see their community room, a television on, people who have been moved in and out, and you will see the dining room. They have a hairdresser who comes by appointment and the people make their appointments. The social director organized things the day we were there, and they had a crawfish boil out in the parking lot. They worked with their patients and my friend is getting very good care."

"We would like to place on record our deepest appreciation and grateful thanks, for the outstanding devotion, great nursing ability, amazing help of the care that all the staff at West Oaks Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center showed our father. Everyone contributed to making his last months as comfortable as possible. Naturally we were saddened at his passing, but we know he was at peace and died with grace. We know our father appreciated all that was done to help him spend his last days in comfort and free of pain and we will be forever grateful to you all. We only ever saw him treated with respect, dignity, deep concern and kindness. Knowing our father was in such good hands brought a sense of peace to our entire family. Thank you all, it meant a great deal to know he was in such kind and capable hands, we will never forget your kindness, and you will remain a part of our loving memory of our father. You are all to be congratulated on the job you do so well and the difference you make to so many lives. The De Pavía Family"

"This is one of the best facilities that I have stayed at since June of this year. They are not perfect but generally are very responsive and caring. The physician therapy and occupational therapy people are excellent. They have provided me with an exceptional experience and I am currently doing things that are not expected given my health issues. My staff medical team is also excellent."

"I looked at Willow Creek Lodge. I liked the way it was set up. It seemed like a good fit. I looked at one or two rooms and the way the cafeteria was set up, and all of that I thought was good. The main reasons they are on top of my list are the location, the cleanliness, and the caring feeling that I felt when I was in there."

"My boyfriend's mom was at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage. It was great. It was well-equipped, and the staff was great. Her room was spacious. It was kind of like a hospital room-type setting, maybe a little bit more comfortable. It's kept clean. They got a board with her condition and her progress as well as the people who were taking care of her and her schedule. With regards to amenities, they had a really large gym that she was able to go to. It's a good place."

"My mom was in The Heights of Tomball a year ago. I would recommend anybody to go there. My husband and I first visited the facility at 5:00 pm on a Saturday night. The nurses were on task. The CNAs, the orderlies -- everybody there -- they're doing their job, seven days a week. I thought it was wonderful. If I could have kept her there, I would have, but she moved into memory care, and she required more than they were ready for, as far some changes in behavior for which she needed help. The staff is as professional and caring as any I've met, and it was a positive experience all the way around. They serve a very good menu for the residents. There were no private rooms; there were only shared rooms, and that was probably my only complaint, but when you have memory care and can't remember where your room is, it doesn't really matter, as long as your area is good. This facility charged a reasonable rate, but the laundry department took such good care of their clothes, to where the things that weren't on hangers were put back on hangers, and clothes were folded and put back in their drawers. I've never seen any facility before or since that gave that kind of care to their residents."
