I have no complaints whatsoever, and I would definitely recommend Legend Oaks to anybody that needs a place for their parents. They are constantly attending to him. The rooms are very comfy. He is in a semi-private room that has a big bathroom, and each of them has their own dresser, closet, TV, and telephone. He is happy with the service in the dining room. He gets a variety of everything, but his diet is restricted. I've never seen anybody complain about the food. As we walked the hallways, it's clean and there is no smell. It doesn't even smell like a hospital, so we liked it. "

"My mom has been to rehab at Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation. It was good, and the staff was very patient, attentive, and caring. They worked with Mom in her physical and occupational therapy and did a pretty good job. My mom had a roommate, and there are usually 2 people in a room -- which is not huge but pretty decent-sized. They had lots of activities like Bingo, sing-alongs, and outings to places like museums, so it's a pretty good place. "

"The aides and the nurses at Brighton Senior Living of Cypress were great. They were concerned about my husband's breathing when he was there. We just had a problem. They had given him a paper, which he didn't tell me about. We were on self-pay and it was a mix-up there. Once I figured it out, I paid them and everything was fine, but there was a little miscommunication. Other than that, as I said, the aides and the nurses were all great. The food was not the best. My husband was not supposed to have spicy or fried foods. One day when I came in, he had fried fish, french fries, and hushpuppies. Everything was fried. Sometimes the food was good, sometimes it's just not so good. His room was kept clean and he had to have a bariatric bed. He got plenty of room and everything. That was a nice room. At one time, they had an outage on the cable and it took maybe two weeks to get it back up. We weren't the only ones complaining. I think all the residents asked what they could do. Of course, if you're bedridden, there's not much you can do, but watch TV. Then they had an outage on the phone. He had a phone and he would usually call me at night or if there was a day I didn't come up or something, but that went out and they never got that fixed. A few times when they did physical therapy, they took him to the physical therapy room where they had the exercise machines. They'd gotten him in a lift and got him in a wheelchair and took him there to do some work. The facility was nice. It's been kept clean. I've been in some places before, visiting other people and it smells bad, but this place never smelled bad. I think the upkeep was good."

"My sister has been a resident of Cypress Creek for the past 5 months. She has had a great experience here, the care is great, the food is good and the cleanliness is too. She is happy that she decided to move here. She doesn’t use the amenities or activities due to her condition but she hopes to at some point. "

"We found Park Manor of Cyfair. It was close enough for my dad, and they accepted Medicaid. It seemed to be great. We’ve only had my mom there for about three weeks, and everything we’ve seen so far has been OK, and she seems to be pretty happy. Right now, I don’t have any complaints; so far, so good. "

"The food is good. The staff seems friendly. There are activities to go to. Bingo, movies, outings etc. They promote individuals to enjoy favorite crafts like quilting, needle point, crochet, and latch-hook. Can do water colors, puzzles, and board games. They had a Medicaid bed available when we needed one. Nice court yards, patios, and Gardens to enjoy. Lots of church services to keep spirits up. Mans cave dedicated to showing the big games- with great chow for snacks. Not super fancy but nice. Would recommend if you need a long term care Medicaid bed. They seem to have a lot of veterans who they care for. Dr Guerrero seems to really care and take an interest in her patients. Centrally located. "

"My father is staying at a healthcare facility called West Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. We chose this center because of its location. They also seem very accommodating to me. The administrators are very responsive; however, my father has a lot of complaints about their CNAs' response time. I don't have a lot of experience with nursing homes, but as a whole, this one looks pretty nice to me and they did have some CNAs there that my father gets along with pretty well. What I like best about it is the fact that I don't hear from them very much. "

She was blessed to have Three amazing nurses, three wonderful CNA'S, a house keeping manager, receptionist, and food service team that was caring, and dedicated to mom's care. The administrative staff was so supportive and helpful. The Conceige has a family style atmosphere."

"My boyfriend's mom was at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage. It was great. It was well-equipped, and the staff was great. Her room was spacious. It was kind of like a hospital room-type setting, maybe a little bit more comfortable. It's kept clean. They got a board with her condition and her progress as well as the people who were taking care of her and her schedule. With regards to amenities, they had a really large gym that she was able to go to. It's a good place."
