"I didn’t get to go on a long tour at River Oaks because unfortunately I think they were changing managers or something was going on at that time, so I did a very short tour, but it was very, very good. The staff was very nice and receptive. I guess I would recommend this facility. "

"The staff there was very attentive, and caring. I have worked in other nursing homes who only cared about making a quick buck but this nursing home has a lot of fun activities for the residents and a lot of amenities to make it feel just like home. This nursing home unlike many others that I know of or have worked at had an administrator that was very caring and genuinely cared about the residents. He made sure to hire staff that also genuinely cared about the residents there. The activities director was also fantastic she always had great activities for the residents to do such as baking, bingo and tours of different historical landmarks. They also catered to all different religious denominations so the residents would never miss out on what mattered most to them. Every Friday they also have live music and dancing for those who like to partake. I think this was by far one of the greatest nursing homes I had ever been in. I can't stress enough how great the staff was either. They kept the CNAs consistent so they weren't always changing up who would be giving care to the residents. The nurses were always the same too so they got the best care. "

"The first time I came here to Jefferson Place Assisted Living, it seemed like everybody I saw was so excited to meet me. Everybody looked happy. I was just kind of shocked by that, and it was nice. It made you feel good right off the bat. We each have our own room. They also have shared rooms. They have private showers and kitchenettes in the rooms. It's nice. They have church services once a week for different denominations. They have activities. I'm going to play bingo, too. It's very comfortable. They also have food that is not bland, and most days the food is fabulous. Once in a while, we get planned meals, which is very good. The place is very clean."
