"We toured the assisted living facility of Countryside Senior Living of Jacksonville. It was under construction, so they were doing a lot of remodeling, but I would recommend it. My sister even wanted to recommend it to a couple that lives down the road. It has a very nice environment, it was peaceful, and very welcoming. The rooms were very large and ample. Two people would sit very well on some of them. If you are just a single person who needs some kind of assistance and help, they have enough people who would help you get around, so it was very nice. It also has a pleasant smell. It didn't smell like some homes for assisted living or nursing homes. We really enjoyed it and told the lady who was there that if my brother didn't need the 24/7 type of care, I think he would have really enjoyed that type of atmosphere. They have a room where an activity director does activities with the residents. I imagine they did exercise too because they have a kind of atrium there, and it was nice. They could sit down and have lunch together, or they could have it in separate little areas. The remodelling issue was the only little problem, but it wouldn't be fair to judge them on that. I think the place was very well taken care of. The person who gave the tour was so sweet and friendly. It was on a weekend, and that's usually when they don't have everybody on staff, but the people who were there were very nice."

"We are planning to move my uncle to Country Place Senior Living of Jacksonville. We have given them a deposit to hold his room. We were very impressed with the facilities. They seemed to be very attentive, and they seemed to have a very good staff available. We were very happy with the walkthrough that we did there, and the facilities that we saw. They have a calendar that I saw in one of the pamphlets that they gave us. It showed different activities on different days, so they have daily activities planned for the patients. They have three different size rooms available. We got him the largest room available at that time. There's a bigger room that may be available in the future and he can go upgrade to that. They provide cable TV; it's part of your monthly fee."

"I went to Windermere at Cartmell. The apartments were nice, and I liked them. The staff was very courteous and very nice. The food was good. I had no complaints. They showed me all the different things that they had to offer to the people living there. They had a theater room and a recreation room, and they had several activities for the elderly. The place was well maintained."

"this is the perfect place for my mother. she has some dimentia and the staff are very patient and loving to her. in this time of "quarentine" they send pictures and videos as well as Facetime. she has been there about 5 years and i couldnt be more pleased. Tonya and her staff are excellant and i would recommend this facility to anyone. "
