"The Hamptons At Greenridge was very nice, I can't think of anything I did not like about it. They have a fitness center, a salon, and a courtyard. The person who gave the tour was warm and personable, she stayed with us the entire time and eat lunch with us. The food there was good, and we had a good dining experience. They just don't have vegetarian food. The facility looks newer than the other places we've toured. It's located near a college but it wasn't close to shopping if you drove, but they offer transportation."

"Brookdale Tyler East was a wonderful experience. It was a warm and cozy environment. The staff members were warm and friendly, too. The rooms were nice. They were small, but I guess that's what they're supposed to be. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and friendly. Brookdale Tyler East is on top of my list."

"The facilities at Atria Willow Park are wonderful. I have eaten their food before and it's very good. Parking can be a challenge. The staff was all very friendly and engaging and knew my name. It's very clean, very well taken care of, and very inviting. It has the feel of a nice vacation lodge. Their rooms were probably the largest of all the rooms that I looked at. The layout was good and very appropriate."

"Brookdale Palestine was a very, very nice facility with friendly staff. It's extremely clean inside and outside, it was nice. They took us into three different rooms, they have a little kitchenette with a small microwave, a small refrigerator, and a walk-in closet. They have a well-manicured courtyard. It's a nice place and they also have a sunroom. The person who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable and very informative, she was great. They gave us a pie to go home with and it was very good. The facility is nice, it's laid out in a circle so that helps anyone get around, especially in assisted living, so it's great. It was well manicured outside, they have a lovely sitting porch and it was beautifully decorated so it's a very nice place."

"The Memory care program at Brookdale is superb. Most places you go people are just in their rooms all the time doing nothing. But, every single person was out in the living area or dining area doing an activity. They were all smiling and dressed and clean and the community smelled wonderful! The rooms were spacious and felt like home. Each resident has their own room decorated with their own furniture. They were about to have lunch and they all sat in the dining room and it looked wonderful. After lunch, they were going on a scenic ride to look at historic homes. The director told me at Christmas they go see lights and will be in the parade!"

"The tour at Pine Lodge Assisted Living was excellent. The staff was very helpful, very easy to talk to, answered all my questions, and gave me lots of good information. They were very helpful. I know they do clean regularly. There was always somebody there whenever I came to tour around, cleaning. It smelled nice and it's just overall a very neat and tidy facility."

"this is the perfect place for my mother. she has some dimentia and the staff are very patient and loving to her. in this time of "quarentine" they send pictures and videos as well as Facetime. she has been there about 5 years and i couldnt be more pleased. "Prestige Estates offers the most professional team to care for your love ones. There food is made from scratch by Chef Gary Blevins. Gary has been preparing the finest meals for over 25 years. His knowledge of food surpasses everyone in the industry. One of his signature skills include baking desserts. This is a living home full of activities. This facility has every ammenity one could desire. The best asset is the owner Kristy Redman. Her love for her residents is a true love. She has a passion for life and every person she meets. I recommend that you stop by and try chef Gary's gourmet prepared meals. Then take a second to meet Kristy the most loving person ever."

"I really like Primrose Retirement Community of Tyler. It was really nice. However, it's a lot more than what it was at the other place. I almost put in a deposit for it because it is so nice. They have cottages. They're very up to date. They have high ceilings, and they have a sunroom. They have a big place where if you want to have something with your family, like Thanksgiving, you could have it there. They have two bedrooms and two baths. They were really nice and really clean. They gave us a cake or something, and it was good. I loved it. It would have been my first choice until I went to the other one. The people were excellent. They were wonderful. They have a lot of people doing things. They have a lot of staff. We have a cat, and they said we could bring the cat."

"I was at Garden Estates of Tyler during meal time and I really liked that they had a sit down dining and not a cafeteria style. They had a couple of choices that they could choose from. They would get a menu and they would order from that menu. So, I liked that restaurant style rather than the buffet, but the variety didn't seem to be as big. It seemed like they had just had a rotation. The facility was more modern because they have just recently updated, gone through, painted, and modernized. So, in that sense, it was all polished up and very clean. It has a lot of windows, but it just didn't seem to have the natural light that the other facility I went to. There's an area that you walk in that has a beautiful grand staircase. It feels very formal and that makes it really, really pretty and just how everything is white and fresh. Everyone was wonderful. I met several of the staff, even the maintenance guy. I chose different times of the day to see how things were on the ones that I visited and got serious about, and the maintenance guy was there, and he gave me a tour. It's totally not his capacity, but everybody was just hands on and ready to show you around and be very helpful."

"We chose The Waterton Inn Assisted Living for my mother. It was awesome. The place was very nice. The residents were friendly, they had a couple of available rooms. It looked very clean. The staff was friendly. They have activities. The rooms are nice, the showers, the bathroom, everything that she needs is nice. When I went in at the time, I think they were doing some games or some artwork."

"My mother is in Reunion Inn. It's not perfect but good. The only real complaint I have is they won't let her give her own medication, because her mental capacities are still fine. Their food is questionable; she complains about it some. It's a nice place. She has a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. They take them to Walmart, and they play bingo. They just need a medication aide, somebody to do better on giving out medication. "

"I went to Windermere at Cartmell. The apartments were nice, and I liked them. The staff was very courteous and very nice. The food was good. I had no complaints. They showed me all the different things that they had to offer to the people living there. They had a theater room and a recreation room, and they had several activities for the elderly. The place was well maintained."
