"We moved our mother to Gulf Point Village because she had been there, and we knew that it's a good facility. They're just very on top of everything. For example, they had a fire in the building the other day, and they were able to get everyone out orderly. Amber is the director up there, and she's just really nice. She's really hands-on with the people that live there. She makes her rounds every day, and she manages to talk to everyone. She also calls me and gives me updates. My mom just sometimes doesn't like the food that they make, but they have a really good chef there. Their meals are always at the same time, and they're always a well-rounded meal. My mom just sometimes doesn't care for what they have. They have a lot of activities."

"Trisun holds about 25 people and has a very cheerful and warm atmosphere. They have all their meals in the common dining room, but I think they can have them in their rooms too, as they have kitchenettes if they want to fix something themselves. There are quite a few activities, especially for the women. They have makeup techniques, they play dominos and checkers, they have a walkers group, they have church service on Wednesdays, I believe, and they have Catholic communion on Sundays. Everyone is quite friendly. The cleanliness is first rate. The staff is very friendly and caring. "

"I stayed at Brookdale from March 31- April 25, for recovery and therapy reasons. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom, plenty of room to maneuver with the condition I was in. The air conditioner was putting out a steady 72 degrees to keep me from the dreadful Texas heat that we all love. The room was cleaned daily whether or not needed by the friendly attendants. The food was top notch with health in mind for sure, menu to choose from prior to the day delivered, portions were filling, you will know the difference in your health, as your wellbeing and thinking will change. The staff truly care about you, each morning at least 2 supervisors dropped by just to say good morning, all personnel that were assigned to me were polite, kind, caring and truly think about making your recovery comfortable. The therapy personnel make your recovery tolerable and to your ability, but the only easy day was yesterday, you are there for recovery and I am grateful to them for helping me improve.
