"My relative will move to New Haven Assisted Living & Memory Care - Floresville. We were impressed with the care, and the surroundings were very pleasant and clean. It was an uplifting facility when we visited. It was excellent. What impressed me most was the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place. They only have 16 residents living there, so that was another plus. The people working there were very nice and very helpful. They were all positive. The kitchen was very clean, and the dining area was very pleasant. They had a nice atmosphere and nice tables with comfortable chairs. It looked nice. It was very clean. The layout was good, too. The rooms were spacious. They have a sunroom there that's really nice with lots of glass. The view is nice and tropical-looking. I just thought it was a pleasant place. The living area was really outstanding as well. They have a lot of small areas where they'll have a couple of chairs with a table in between. You could visit with someone there, or sit and meditate, read, or whatever. It would be an open area, but just little cubby holes here and there where you could get some privacy."

"Blue Skies was very nice but did not fit our needs because they did not allow pets in the building, although you can visit them in other areas. The food was very good. The apartments were small but nice. "

"My mother will be moving into Highland Gardens Koval's Assisted Living. It's beautiful. It's very quiet. It's small and very private. Almost every resident gets one-on-one care. The staff during the tour was wonderful and very helpful. She's a listener. She listened to my whole story about my mom's history and asked for details, like, for instance, allergies, what she likes to do for enjoyment, and what interests her. It was a private home-style dining area, and all the food is homemade. They check with every resident to not include any allergies that they have. They have board games and interactive games. They have two television areas and they have a quiet room. I didn't taste the food, but the residents were enjoying it."
