"My husband was at Belmont Village Senior Living Lakeway. For 18 months, 95% of it was really good. They had a lot of activities, and I really liked their activity schedule there. I went over a lot because he was only a mile from me. Their food was pretty good, too. The facilities were very clean. It was all good; it was excellent. It was pretty expensive, but I guess it was good value. It's one of the pricier ones around here. When I put my husband into a different facility after 17 days, I had to move him out because they were horrible, so this place is a five compared to that place."

"It is a small community with a caring, loving, and attentive staff. They are quick to respond to residents' needs and flexible with families. Mom is in a small studio, which is just the perfect layout for her, with plenty of room for all the furniture she needs, plenty of closet space, and a very spacious bathroom. They have arts and crafts, games, and other group activities. The meals are good and adequate. It's a little bit older facility, but other than that, it's great."

"I highly recommend Tiffin House! During the past year, I had provided 24 hour care for my dad in his home. However, due to the progression of his Dementia, a hip fracture, and the onset of pneumonia, I was no longer able to safely care for my dad. I visited numerous facilities through the area, and the Tiffin House was truly an answer to prayer! The home is beautiful with private bedrooms rooms and many lovely sitting areas both inside and outside. The most amazing aspect of Tiffin House however is the WONDERFUL STAFF! My dad was provided the most respectful and loving care imaginable! The caregivers were knowledgeable, kind, patient, and loving to my dad. His care was difficult due to his confusion and pain. The caregivers were exceptional and spent as much time as he needed with his care throughout the day. Every staff member that I encountered was focused on providing exceptional care for my dad. I am truly thankful for Tiffin House for caring for my dad. I don’t think you can find a facility better than Tiffin House."

"We saw the memory care section. It's very nice and very clean. I was impressed with it. It seemed very comfortable. One thing I noticed is that there wasn't any smell. A lot of times, when you walk in those types of facilities, you get the whiff of urine or whatever. This place smelt really good and looked clean. The person who assisted me was very sweet, very nice, and seemed very knowledgeable about the care of people with memory issues. I didn't try the food but I checked the dining area and it looked clean and nice. I remember seeing a TV area and an outside area too."

"A wonderful community where residents and associates are engaged with each other. The care I observed was compassionate and the community has been clean on every visit. It’s a new community so things felt very updated compared to older communities.I would highly recommend. "

"I am staying at Arbor House Marble Falls, and it's very pleasant. The cottages are nicely sized. The staff is amazing, and when I moved in, they had freshly painted the apartment after the previous owner had left. It had a brand-new refrigerator. It is top of the line -- this is the Cadillac of refrigerators. It has all new appliances, a new microwave, a new stove, and a new dishwasher. The washing machine and dryer had been used, but they're in good shape. The residents are very friendly. I've only been here three days, and I've met seven of my neighbors. We are sitting on top of the hill here, so there's always a breeze. My back porch faces north, and it's covered, so I can sit out in the evening and enjoy it. We were sitting out here the other night, and it was ninety-five degrees, but I wasn't even sweating because we had this nice breeze that was coming through. The place has beautiful surroundings, it has a beautiful view, and it is quiet. They don't have a lot of organized activities, and you're pretty much left on your own. If you have things that you want to do, you can, and if you don't want to do anything, you don't have to. The place is very pleasant and moderately priced. If you want, you can eat over in the dining room. The dining room is over in the assisted living section. Since I have a full kitchen and I'm a gourmet cook, I don't want to go there. I don't want to eat their food anyway, but it is a very pleasant place to live. There is a fitness center within three blocks, and we have all kinds of walking areas. There's a courtyard for when it's cold or there’s inclement weather; you can go and walk in the courtyard. As far as setting up organized activities goes, it's not a part of their program."

"Marble Falls is wonderful. I would definitely give them 100% rating. My husband and I were so impressed because it's small, quiet, and very clean. The staff was wonderful and I love them all. I think there were only 25 residents, which is really good because it's not overwhelming for my mom. Her room was nice size, too. The facility was close to her church. The food was wonderful. I was so happy and thought she's going to do well. But then she passed two days before her birthday. Even though my mom was there for a short period, I was extremely pleased. "

"We liked Gateway Villas and Gateway Gardens certainly because of their location. They also offered everything that mom would need and I thought the size of the community would be right for her. It's a good match. She's confined to a wheelchair and they would be able to provide the transfers that she needed and so forth. That was important. They were just doing some renovations when we visited."

"My aunt is in Country Oaks at Hamilton Creek. She's been there for five years now. It's a good place. They've got caring staff. It's very clean. They're short-staffed right now, but they're all nice. It's close to home where her family is. The food is very good, but it could be healthier. They have bingo. They have a bus and they take them like at Christmas time to see the lights and just take them on outings. They have good meals, but I don't see vegetables and that kind of stuff on there. It's all greasy, and these are older people, and they need healthier food. I have to talk to them about their seating arrangements. My aunt was sitting at this table for five years, and this new lady came in, and she started sitting where my aunt was sitting, and my aunt would throw a fit. The staff was like, "It's first come, first serve." I think that's not right because older people are used to where they're sitting and with the same people."

"My dad was in Riva Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care Center and it was a great place. It's an excellent facility with excellent staff, and I would recommend for others to try it out. They had meals and it was really good. I would recommend that they try it out. Basically they would ask what the person can eat, and you can eat anything and everything. They have two buildings, one assisted living and one for memory care. For activities, they have a staff that takes them into the main building for parties and bingo."

"Arbor Terrace Lakeway was a beautiful facility. Everybody was very accommodating. They had some great activities, and I saw a group of people participating. They had some residents leading activities, which was nice. I met the activity director, and she seemed very engaged. The staff, Theresa, gave me the tour and introduced me to the community. She was reaching out to me more than I was reaching out to her. She was always making sure that I had information and that I knew what was going on. She offered to meet with the family via a Skype meeting or a Zoom meeting to just kind of share information. So, I found her to be very accommodating."
