"I visited Trinity Care Center. I have an overall positive impression of both the place and the staff there. The rooms there were small but clean. I interacted with the administrator people more than the nursing staff, but they were very nice and we were greeted by residents while we were on the tour, which impressed me."

"When my husband had an ankle replacement, he went to Reliant Rehab as an inpatient. I believe he was there for a week. It is a beautiful facility, sparkling clean! My husband also said it is a wonderful place. He had a private room that was spacious enough for him. They have a cafeteria where patients', visitors and family can eat and their food is excellent. My husband enjoyed their food too. We actually had a friend who was one of the cooks there and he made sure that they're cooking something that Gerry really like. I loved the administrator of this facility. He is a young paraplegic and he is just fabulous. All of the physical therapists that we have used are also excellent and very caring. My husband was very happy there as much as he could be in the circumstances. "

"I visited Cottonwood Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation. The staff was very responsive. Cottonwood is a little more of a nursing home feel. It was very clean and very well kept. Like I said, very caring individuals, but it is just a little bit more sterile. It is a different environment. The rooms basically looked like a hospital room. They have a hospital bed, two closets, a big round table, two comfortable-type sitting chair, an in-table and the table that swings across the bed. They have a TV on the wall and built-in cupboard. "

"We got my sister into The Center at Parmer, which was more of a skilled nursing rehab center, and that worked out great. They were very good. Her room was plenty big and it had everything we needed. They brought her food up to her. I never went to the dining area. They had the people they needed to help my sister, and that was all we were concerned with. We didn't have to pay anything. Parking was plenty good."

"My wife is in Sagebrook Nursing and Rehabilitation right now. Our experience has been mostly positive. There have been some communication issues between staff members, but individually the staff people, with one exception, have been very good. Some particular ones have been excellent with her. She's not taking advantage of most of the facility because she's been bedridden the entire time. The cleanliness and upkeep are generally quite good. They have occupational therapy and physical therapy. They come by once a day and work with her for about half an hour and have taught me what to do to do more physical therapy when they're not there. I think they're excellent for that. Finally, two days ago, we began to make some real progress. It was very worrisome for a while, but we're making some progress now. The physical therapy people have been excellent. The food has not been great. First of all, we had an issue with getting her a low-sodium diet. We ended up talking to about 4 different people over several days to get them to finally put her on a low-sodium diet. There's nothing really unhealthy about it. It's just not tasty. "

"My mother was in rehab at Park Place Care Center for just a few weeks. The staff was very nice and very helpful, and they worked hard to make her as comfortable as possible. You had to make reservations ahead of time to see your loved one, but that was no problem as long as you made reservations ahead of time. They were very nice and accommodating. This facility was decent. She did not like the food, but she was very picky, and they had problems with the staff in the kitchen. It's expensive."

"I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone! I visited the facility for my grandmother because her friend had gone in the past. I was very impressed with the facility. I was most impressed with the staff though. Everyone was very kind and took the time to answer questions I had. "

"A few days before I turned 67, I fell at home and broke 4 ribs. After 6 days in the ICC at the hospital, they sent me home. I could not use anything on my right side, I could not get myself up and down, in and out of bed, in and out of a chair. and I could not let anything thouch the right side of my back. Prior to this I was an active retired person. Now I was helpless. Because I was on SS it took a while for my family to find someone who would take me at their location and help me do the daily things to get back on my feet. Fortunately Falcon Ridge said yes. It was a brand new facility, my room had never been used. The staff was friendly and very caring. The Therapy area worked with me several times each day and I quickly became able to use my right arm. They even had a beauty shop in house to help with my wild hair. They also have a great meal selection. I am a very finicky eater, but did not go hungry and could always find food options. The only problem I had while there was a glitch with my medication being ready when I arrived. Fortunately my family had all the numbers they needed to alert those in charge to the problem and for my family to get my medicines where they could be administered. After a weekend of confusion regarding my meds, thing got regulated and much better by the time the weekday shift arrived. I have recommended this location to several friends if they need rehab on body parts and I would go back there if needed . "

"New Hope Manor was nice. It was a little farther than I wanted to drive. The staff was very nice. We just toured it and talked to them. It was another good place that I thought was nice. There was a man and a woman who assisted me. They were very nice and very caring, and they explained things. The room was very clean. While we were visiting, they were doing activities with the people in the memory care. I saw the meal, and it looked decent and good."

"My father is currently in Pflugerville Care Center. My mother just got out of there. They are very caring, lovely people. They are short staffed, but I really have nothing negative to say about the staff because it takes special people to do that. The rooms are OK. They have two people in one room, but the TV is only in front of one bed. Luckily, my parents were in the same room together, but at first my father had a roommate and the TV was in front of his roommate, so he didn't get to really participate in much TV watching, which was depressing for him, of course. It's one of the better nursing homes that I have been in because this is not the first rehab my father's been in. Neither one of my parents got sick and they've been vaccinated. They've got excellent food, and my parents said it's so good. That's a definite plus. My dad's social worker says a lot of the staff has been out there for lots of years and they're passionate about what they do. It takes special people again to do that job and do it with a smile, and I saw it many times. Somebody ran into the main entrance, so no one is allowed to go into the main door. You have to go around to the back of it right now. It's a bit inconvenient because my mother has a broken back and she's on a walker and a back brace. I drive around back and they allow me to drop her off."

"My mother has already gone into Heartland Health Care Center. I wanted something that did have Medicaid in case we do run out of money because $4500 a month does add up fast no matter how much money you have. I love the courtyard aspect of it. The people were lovely, and it was an older facility which my mother would like. She’s very happy there. The staff has been great; service has been wonderful. Any issues I’ve had, I’ve talked them over with them, and it’s been dealt with and resolved, so I’m very happy. The interesting thing is that she has always said she likes to be alone. She came in with really no friends, just me and family. She is one of those women that sits at the front and waves to everybody and says hello. They have a bus that takes them out at least twice a month, and they’d go out shopping and they’d go to Big Lots. Once a month, they do the mystery ride where they just drive around in the bus, and it’s one of their favorites. "

"My father is in Windsor. Our main concern is communication with the staff. They don’t have that many people in there, and they don’t return the call when you ask them questions. They’re not following through with what they said. They walk them out and they have rehab. There are doctors who come to the home. "

"My mother-in-law is at Gracy Woods II. It is a very nice place. I like it. It is organized and clean. They have the normal activities you would see in most nursing homes or assisted living places. They have different things. The staff members are very attentive and very courteous to the residents' needs. The rooms are very nice and very clean. They provide activities, transportation, and outings. They provide most anything you need there."
