The staff is incredibly professional and compassionate. On my dad's first day with the facility, Ms. Micky understood my concerns and worries for my dad and made sure he felt welcomed, and she calmed my nervousness. The staff mean EVERYTHING - true peace of mind!

My sister is currently at Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation of North Austin. Everything is fine there. It's a wonderful place. It's the best nursing home I've seen in Texas. The staff is very good. It's just that the residents there are not able to have a conversation with my sister because a lot of them have Alzheimer's. The environment there is what's taking her down. The only people she can talk to are the staff, and they don't have the luxury of time to have conversations with her. They have activities there, but most of the residents can only play bingo and participate in puzzles. They try to provide as many activities as they can, but these residents are not capable of enjoying them. They have people that come and sing for them or read books for them. Her room is clean and there's no odor. The floors are clean. She gets a shower at the time she's supposed to. They have a big lounge with a TV and a very big dining area. The food is good, but it's not put together really well.

My parents moved to Legend Oaks two months ago. It was convenient, and the experience has been good. The staff has been very good and caring. The overall cleanliness really stands out. They have a lot of activities for the elderly groups; they do bingo and trips.

Cedar View is everything I had hoped it would be. Professional, well qualified, compassionate staff made my husband's hospice staff a peaceful experience. I could always count on Cedar View to provide everything my husband required to make his last days easier.
