" I have been to lots of facilities over the years, visiting friends and loved ones. I'm not joking when I tell you that Granite Mesa Health Center is the best! I live here and from my perspective, I know that these folks care about us, they smile, they laugh, and they are real! When I came here, I wanted to be here because I had no help at home, and so it was like a breath of fresh air to come here and have people willing to help me. Our rooms are comfortable and there are staff members who will help you get dressed, help you get into bed and out and do whatever you need to feel at home. Our food here is good and you have a menu of what you can choose from. There are activities that you can take part in, or you or you can choose to watch television, read a book, visit with other residents. The staff can help you find activities to do if you need them to. I've found it so good just to talk to others here... You cheer them up, then there will be a day someone will cheer you up when you need it. Please come and visit and you will find folks ready to help you feel right at home. "

"Our experience with Llano Nursing And Rehabilitation Center has been fine. My father is not upset to be there. The staff is good. I haven't run across anybody with a bad attitude. The food seems to be fine. My dad hasn't complained about it. They have physical therapy, speech therapy, a recreational room, and a big open room where they play dominos and bingo."

"My father was a resident of Oaks Nursing Center. When he first stayed there, they got him back on his walker, so that was successful. He went back home for six weeks, then back to the hospital, and back here again. The first time he stayed there, they lost his hearing aid, which was $2,000 we had to come up with out of pocket. He was in a shared room. Medicare-covered the costs, there was no out-of-pocket cost."

They were good and appeared to be very clean. He had his own room. The personnel were very friendly, very nice, and easy to deal with."
