My father was a resident of Oaks Nursing Center. When he first stayed there, they got him back on his walker, so that was successful. He went back home for six weeks, then back to the hospital, and back here again. The first time he stayed there, they lost his hearing aid, which was $2,000 we had to come up with out of pocket. He was in a shared room. Medicare-covered the costs, there was no out-of-pocket cost.
