The person answering the phone was rude to begin with she told me to send fax over referral then they would call me back. I never received a call so I called them the next day to ask if they had sent someone out to see our patient but Ms Ryan answered and told me no to re fax referral then she said no they could not service my patients area and hung up on me. Very rude! I would never think to ever use their services again! "

"Benchmark Home Health Care took care of my dad really well. They would come in and give him a shower. He always liked them; they worked with him really well. They had a nurse come in and check on him, and they would call me if they determined something or if they noticed anything. They always checked his blood pressure, and if they noticed anything, they would actually call me. They also did some therapy for him, and they were good with him. If one person was not there, they would send somebody else and would let me know somebody else was coming. Otherwise, it was pretty much the same people who always came to see him. The same one helped him in the shower, the same one would always come to check him medically (like a couple of times they found something wrong with his heel; it was cracking and bleeding, and they got the doctor and dressed the wounds). They took care of him very well."

"This private company is owned and run by an R.N. She is an excellent business woman, but more importantly, a giving and caring person. I believe she and her entire multidisciplinary staff are all from the Phillipines. That culture has a history of respecting family, especially elders. The country is also known for its excellent nurses. I utilized their Nursing and Physical Therapy services, after they were literally "prescribed" by my physician, specifically to this company. Thus far I have only two suggestions : they SHOULD NOT show a preference for Medicare, merely because they ask for less "paperwork". Medicare, unlike private insurance companies that are more diligent in documentation, is an agency of the federal government. We all know how well the government "manages" our money. It is not impressive. The second issue, has been complaints or hesitancy from all, at this company, regarding visiting certain areas because of parking worries. This is NOT the fault of patients. This is the company responsibility. "

"When we originally signed up with Serendipity Home Health Care, Inc., we had to wait a couple of months before they were able to find somebody. They finally found a lady, but she was terrible. She came late and she left early. She never really did anything. They called me to check on how she was doing, and I honestly answered. Then the agency called and said that she couldn't work anymore because she was sick. So, we had to wait quite a while till we got the lady that we have now, Maria. She's like an angel. She's wonderful. She helps me with strength exercises. She's very good and I like her. She is really helpful. She helps me get in and out of the bathtub. She helps me take care of the wound on my leg. Sometimes if we haven't had breakfast yet, she'll make breakfast. She pretty much does anything. Yesterday, my husband had doctor's appointments, and she took him to his appointments. She helps me with my physical therapy and she's wonderful."
