"My husband used Interim. We used the daily in-home health, and the CNA comes out and takes care of him. They came out four hours in the morning and four hours in the evening. They did light housework, bathing, dressing, and meals. The caregivers are absolutely wonderful and I was amazed. My husband was very comfortable. The billing was wonderful and I had no problems. They billed us once a week. It was way beyond what I ever expected. It was a godsend and a blessing to have them."

"We’ve had Bright Star for home care for my 91 year old Dad a few hours a day and I can’t recommend them enough. Nancy has been with us over a year. Recently my Dad lost his partner of 13 years from cancer. Nancy made sure my Dad saw her every day for weeks while she was in hospice before passing away. It was just one of the many special ways she cares for our Dad and we appreciate her every single day. Nancy is away for a week presently and we have Kristen. I could tell she was special the minute we met. She’s making Dad special breakfast smoothies and listening as he grieves for his partner who recently passed. These special women are shining lights caring for Dad and his home while bringing our family such peace of mind."

"My choice would be Elmhurst Home Health In Illinois. They are very "in tune" with your needs, very caring, & follow up with you. This is my story. I've been invited to a memorial service in April, & they called & told me about it. My story: My dad passed away from Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He didnt want to go thru chemo again (he was 93). He wanted to die at home. I did my best to keep him comfortable, got him Netflix of all old movies unitl he lost control of his legs. He was then bedboung and seemed to lose interest in everything. he had no appetite except for hot cereal early in the day. We had home health nurses check on him twice a week. Things just went from bad to worse, & he slept constantly. I think he picked his own time to go. I took a nap at 6:30pm, & by 7,my husband woke me and said he was gone. I stayed there crying & holding his hand until Home Health arrived and made the arrangements. I still have the pangs of guilt. Why did I take a nap? I still havent gotten over it, he passed 6 mos ago. I still have crying jags that last for hours. I miss him terribly. "

"My brother was on Home Health services with Family and we were so pleased with Nursing and Therapy. The nuse was so caring & Kind. She treated my brother as if he were a family member. She had such a big heart. If she was going to be even 15 minutes late she would call to let us know. I would definitely refer Family Home Health to my family and Friends. Thank you for all the great work you do! "

"We have used Alternative Home Health for two months for our parents, but we're still having language issues with the caregivers. There are two caregivers, one who is very good and trying to learn how to cook; unfortunately, he's only there three days a week. The other one we're trying to replace because she can't cook, and her language skills are atrocious. She helped with my father quite a bit, but we need somebody to follow Dad around, like a babysitter, and help him with his bathroom needs and dress him. My mom needs help in the shower and with cooking. I think the cost is expensive. They live there 24/7, and we're housing and feeding them. They're one of the least expensive ones out there."

"Employees seem to be not very well screened. I had several homemakers from this agency and they were all terrible. I had things stolen, was threatened, and none of them did the work they were supposed to do. The agency didn't care - they just sent a body -and did nothing when I complained. I wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone. "

"We are going with Residential Home Health & Hospice - Lisle. They have come out and are trying to get more assistance for my mom, like Meals On Wheels and stuff like that. We have been using them for three months now. A nurse comes in and evaluates my mom. She takes her blood pressure and temperature and sees if she has sores or anything like that. My mom has an occupational therapist and a physical therapist. They gave a lot of recommendations. We just recently got my mom the thing that goes around your toilet to help her stand and give her support. We also got her walker. Then they're doing the actual physical therapy and occupational therapy, trying to strengthen her core and stuff. The occupational therapist and the physical therapist come every other week, so it's twice a month. It's not a whole lot, but it does help. The nurse comes once a month. Medicaid pays for all of it as far as the billing goes."

"Having ReliaCare Home Health coming to me again for the fourth time in 4 years, I decided it was time to write a review. I was assigned ReliaCare when I came out of a rehab center in March 2011 - my first experience with home health. I had a nurse, PT and OT. All three were very skilled and supportive. They worked around my schedule of frequent doctor visits just as I understood that, in turn, I needed to be a little flexible for them as they juggled their schedule of service. It worked fine. In mid 2011, only the nurse was still coming because of a wound that wouldn't heal. It was so disheartening, but not only did Donna take care of the wound as instructed by doctors, she helped me keep positive and also made her own suggestions beyond what the doctors and wound clinic were doing. I will always believe that the final antibiotic which was suggested by the results of blood work Donna recommended is what finally healed the wound. I have needed home health care three additional times, and have always requested ReliaCare and Donna. I am sure the other ReliaCare nurses are equally competent and compassionate, just as all the PTs have been. But sometimes it helps ease the stress to have someone who you already know and trust, and ReliaCare is very good at working to accommodate their patients. I highly recommend them for you or your loved one. "

"The name of the home care is Larlin Health Care. It's probably been going on for maybe two years now. The caregiver is very good and tolerant. She does care a lot, and my mother-in-law likes her. My mom is a very difficult person to deal with because she has dementia. But this caregiver just goes with the flow and just goes with her mood which is very good. "

"It was my first day at home with my mother who had just returned from skill nursing. I thought I was prepared, needless to say I wasn't. Jada L. was nothing short of amazing. She was personable, knowledgeable and she demonstrated care and concern while fully meeting my mother's needs. I have been with BrightStart for over a year now. They really do work with you to find a caregiver that meets your need. I appreciate the service they provide which allows me to continue working and provide in-home care for my Mom."
