We used Compassion Home Care of Illinois for my mom post hip replacement surgery. Compassion Home Care of Illinois replaced a company that could not provide reliable care coverage, and they really stepped up to the plate! I called them the day before a holiday weekend, in the evening, and at 11AM the next morning we had replacement care givers. We had the same two care givers the entire time we used their service, and they could not have been nicer or more caring. They put the other agency to shame with the amount of work they did with and for mom in the short time they were there – they never slowed down! I can highly recommend Compassion Home Care of Illinois for anyone needing live-in care. We will definitely reach out to them again if we need more assistance.

Compassionate Home Care has good work ethics; it’s OK, but they’re having a hard time with the language barrier. They are well-trained, but during the transitional period from one caregiver to another, one of the issues was they were talking about how much they are getting paid, if they getting paid enough, and the hours that one woman wants in front of us, so I told them you don’t discuss your hours and pay in front of your clients. However, the weekend caregiver we have is very wonderful. We must find a company who is actually compassionate about people, not how much they get.
