I toured Prairie Green at Fay's Point. The facility was very well-kept. It was clean. The interaction that I had with any staff there was positive. I noticed that the director who was showing me around seemed to know the resident's names. She knew everybody. Those are things that make the place like a home. It's a very caring and compassionate environment. The people were very friendly. Everybody seemed engaged in what they were supposed to be doing.

I toured Prairie Green at Fay's Point. It was nice. It was decent but it was a little crowded at the elevator. It's too many people standing in the elevator too close to each other. It's a decent-looking place. The staff was professional. They have function rooms and a dining area where everybody can go in to eat.

I wasn't as impressed with Prairie Green at Fay's Point. I didn't think that the reception was anywhere near the reception I received at another facility. I didn't feel like I was getting enough information to even want my sister to be there. It was almost antagonistic. I didn't like it at all. I didn't see any amenities at all. It was more like a high-rise apartment living, from what I could tell. I think there was some mention of them taking the seniors out on some type of shopping spree. They had crafts where the seniors would paint. The rooms were nice sized. I will give them a good score for that. I believe they were just one room. Not a bedroom type. Just one single space. I smelled a urine odor in one of their gathering rooms, but it was fairly clean, with the exception of that and I know that could be unavoidable at times. The facility was neat and it appeared to be clean. It's just that their core was so dull and dark. It wasn't well lit or anything and I commented on that when I spoke to the person who gave us the tour.

Prairie Green at Fay's Point was very nice and very clean. The thing that struck me the most when I first walked in was that they really enforced the mask policy. The way they asked me to put my mask on was very polite, but it was enforced. Also, as soon as I walked in, the receptionist looked up at me from what she was doing and gave me a great big smile. She was very friendly and accommodating. I had to wait a minute for Belinda to come, and she's the executive director. Within that little five minutes, the receptionist was checking in on me to make sure that I knew that Belinda was on her way, and that she would be there in a moment. Another thing that struck me the most about them is how well they all got along with each other, because even as we were walking around doing the tour, once we passed another employee, they were very friendly. You could tell they were used to working with each other, that they had fun with their job, and they really cared about what they were doing. They only have studio apartments, but I was a little disappointed because it was so small. It was really small for a studio, and they were telling me that they didn't have any more one-bedroom. It was still very clean. They're on top of the cleanliness. The dining area was really big. I didn't observe them doing any activities, but in the art room I saw where they had done some arts and crafts. They were on the wall, on the tables and everything, and it looked like they were really engaged, so it was really nice.

Prairie Green at Fay's Point didn't seem as active. I just saw a couple of people there. It might have been just the day that I went, but to me, it wasn't very welcoming. The rooms were nice and cozy, though. The staff was also nice. The young lady who took me around was great and very accommodating. The person that was at the front desk was very helpful. They had an art studio, a therapy/gym facility, a very nice cafeteria, and an activity room.

I toured the Prairie Green at Fay's Point. It was a great and impressive place. The staff was very knowledgeable, very engaging, very thorough with all the information. The tour was great. The facilities are great. I even toured one of the units. They explained every piece to me, from meals to the services that they provide, everything, even the process of applying to their facility, so I was very pleased. I am going back to take my mom and my sister to view the place. The layout was great, the outdoors was nice, and they had a walking path. I also liked that they had a nurse's station on each floor. It was very nice when you walked into the place. The lobby area was very festive for the holiday. It has the Fall scene in the hallway which was very nice. It was clean, the staff at the lobby area was engaging, and the residents seemed like they were happy. They had a salon. They had a workout area. They had a library and computer area, which they also helped seniors work on the computers. They also had a rehabilitation facility. They had a different activity board of the things that they have that the seniors can do. They had transportation for the residents. I liked the fact that they have to buzz you in to get into the facility, and no one can just walk in. So that was good as well. The lunchroom was huge. I like the fact that they take your order and you could bring it to the table.

We visited Prairie Green at Fay's Point. It was very clean, the people were friendly, and it would have worked out, but my father-in-law decided not to go. We met the cook and the administrator, who were friendly and helpful. The grounds were very pretty, and the location was good. We saw them working with the people playing a game, and that was going pretty well. They have an activity board up on a wall, so people know what's going on, and it looked full to me.

Prairie Green at Fay’s Point was nice and pleasant. The staff was friendly and residents were very friendly. The two units that I saw were nice, well conditioned, and clean. The bathrooms were nice and large. They had independent and assisted living, but my aunt needed more care.

My father was placed in an handy cap assessable apartment on the first floor. My father is not in a wheel chair, therefore he has difficulty seeing how to shave since the mirror is low,he is 6'2''. When I asked if the mirror could be raised I was informed that it could not be done. I was then told that if I purchased a mirror they would install it for free. I do not feel that this is his responsibility he did not ask for such an apartment.

Prairie Green was excellent and looked very nice. The staff and the medical staff were very helpful. All of the people seemed caring. They had different activities that I like, and all of that was posted. The dining room was of good size, and they had an activity and craft room. Everything was good for my mom. It’s not on a main street, and that’s the advantage. It’s kind of setback away from the main street. They have exercise and a computer room.

Prairie Green was very nice with fabulous rooms, and the staff was wonderful. It was too big for my mom, though. I played bingo there.

My mother is in Prairie Green for three months now. Right now, I have some concerns. I have gone to management and talked to them about them, and they seem to be working on it. She is unable to remember some things. She needs to be with some of the clients to get acclimated to make it a little bit more familiar and more livable for her. I've had some issues as far as her medications and getting all her medications to her. I've seen the meals and the menu; I think they can do better with them. It's appetizing enough, and they have fruits and vegetables. The training of the staff could be a little bit long term. The screening of the people could be a little bit better. Everybody is not fit to work in a long-term care facility like this or assisted living because they don't have the compassion for older people. She has had a fall since she has been there, and nobody knew she fell. She had gotten up after she had fallen. The next day, they had taken her to the emergency room. When they need to talk to you, they have no confidentiality. They talk out in front of the receptionist or in the waiting room. They don't pull you to the side.

We looked at Prairie Green, and I thought it was a very nice facility also. I did not come in contact with many people there because it was just a tour. But from my observation, they seemed well staffed, and they seem to be very caring and concerned about their people. The rooms were like a studio with a little kitchen attached to it. They were very nice, very modern, and very clean. It just seemed like a very nice facility. I would recommend this facility to others.

I did like Prairie Green. It looked really nice. The one I met was very nice, easy to talk to, and very supportive, and made me comfortable if I needed to place my father there. That would've been one of my choices.

Mom was really pleased with Prairie, and the staff was just alright. I love the staff, the place, and everything they offer for my mom. They have a fitness center for her, physical therapy, a game room, and an entertainment room. They have a doctor’s office there, the rooms were setup very nicely, and there’s enough room for her. It was accessible, and she can get around.
