"I can't say enough about this group of people. I have used them with my own family as well as patients. They are ready to help 24 hours a day. They not only making sure the patient is comfortable but that the family has the support and understanding that they need. I must also add the services they offer to families after the love ones have passed is a wonderful added service. I really can't say enough about them. They go beyond the call of duty and I give them 5 stars. "

"My sister-in-law is in the nursing home at Walnut Hills. From what I see, it's not the best place where I would want to put my family member. The person I interacted with there is very nice, and the welcome was very pleasant. It was very good, but they're not fast except for that one guy in the wing where she was. There were nights when she needed help in the bathroom that she had to do it on her own because nobody came to help her. The place is clean. I am looking for a hospital bed for my sister-in-law to donate to them because I think nobody needs to be on that bed since it belongs to the trash. They need better consideration of the elderly, but I think the pricing is good. She shares a room with somebody else, and there's just a bed, nightstand, and closet."

"Southwood Care Center is tucked away on a cul-de-sac, so it is quiet. It's all one story so residents who can walk or propel their own wheelchairs can get outside when they want which is great. My mom lived there for several years and although there was of course some staff turnover, there was enough continuity that she always seemed to have someone to take an interest in her personally. The activity director works really hard within her budget to have a variety of things for the residents to do. It was cool also because they sometimes let family members hold memorial services there for residents who have passed away so that their friends can easily pay their respects. This is great for long-term residents. It is always clean and I found the staff to be responsive. It's an older facility but they are working to keep it up. The food service lady is a long-term employee and very conscientious. "

"I had to go through a lot of bad places before I found Monte Siesta, and it is great. The staff is awesome. The food is OK; it’s cafeteria food. The rooms need to be updated, but it’s OK. They do a lot of things. They let the residents be themselves and walk around. They care about my dad and converse with him. Everything is perfect in my eyes. "

"Cedar View is everything I had hoped it would be. Professional, well qualified, compassionate staff made my husband's hospice staff a peaceful experience. I could always count on Cedar View to provide everything my husband required to make his last days easier. "

"I had lunch with my friend here and the food was good. It was set up like a hotel. It was a seated dining and you would order from a menu. It was a very nice place and the staff in the front desk and the restaurant seemed fine. "

"This is a wonderful facility with great and very caring staff. Our mother stayed here for 2 years and she was very well cared for. The staff was only a phone call away, and the facility is very cleaned and in order. The Management at this facility was very kind and always responded quickly via email and/or phone calls."

"My husband was at Riverside on and off for 5 months. The caring loving respect and help we received was excellent. The staff superb and the facility excellent. I have never met such caring people before. He was in another rehab center and we took him out as soon as possible. Everyone from the housekeeping staff to the director are really involved in a persons care. I just can't express my thanks enough "

"My father is in Windsor. Our main concern is communication with the staff. They don’t have that many people in there, and they don’t return the call when you ask them questions. They’re not following through with what they said. They walk them out and they have rehab. There are doctors who come to the home. "

"Brush Country Nursing & Rehabilitation is great in taking care of my loved one and keeping things cleaned several times a day. The facilities are everything that we needed. I didn't see anything lacking. The nursing care is outstanding. The physical and occupational therapy are also outstanding. The therapists are very well trained. They speak kindly and encourage the residents to get up and move. They help them see easier ways to do that, and my mother loves everybody. The dining room is very nice. They can choose to go to the dining room or they can have a tray brought to their room. Some of the food are really good and others are not. So, it's a mixed bag, but it's healthy food. There are all kinds of activities. In fact, last week they hired a new activities director who's on top of things very quickly. They go out if they can. They take them shopping or to other kinds of events. They have a lot of things to do onsite as well. They do crafts, puzzles, and bingo every week. The activities director not only does activities for groups, but she also goes to individual residents and helps them with things. They are outstanding. Even the admissions office is wonderful."

"My mother has already gone into Heartland Health Care Center. I wanted something that did have Medicaid in case we do run out of money because $4500 a month does add up fast no matter how much money you have. I love the courtyard aspect of it. The people were lovely, and it was an older facility which my mother would like. She’s very happy there. The staff has been great; service has been wonderful. Any issues I’ve had, I’ve talked them over with them, and it’s been dealt with and resolved, so I’m very happy. The interesting thing is that she has always said she likes to be alone. She came in with really no friends, just me and family. She is one of those women that sits at the front and waves to everybody and says hello. They have a bus that takes them out at least twice a month, and they’d go out shopping and they’d go to Big Lots. Once a month, they do the mystery ride where they just drive around in the bus, and it’s one of their favorites. "

"Out of every place we've looked at thus far, Longhorn Village is the top. All the staff, from the management people all the way down to the maintenance people who we were introduced to, was nice. The residents were talking to us and telling us it is a great place. The rooms were large, lighted, and airy. The dining facilities were immaculate. They have their own pool, water aerobics, card game nights. They have trips to Austin. They do cruises once a year on cruise ships. You name, they have it. We talked to the activities director. He said if we can think of anything, if we can get a couple of people that want to do it, they'll work it up. I'd highly recommend them, but it is costly. "

"Southpark Meadows is a very nice facility and they have people that are working there for a long time. It's a newer facility, and they are very well staffed. I liked what I saw and everybody was friendly. They take care of their business and the patients. It's a very good facility. "
