After a serious parachute accident and several surgeries, I spent almost 3 months at Stonebridge recuperating - most of that time confined to a bed with a "no weight-bearing activty" order from my Orthopedic surgeon. I found the facility clean and apparently we'll managed as the staff seemed cheerful and happy to work there - indeed some staff have worked there 10-20 years. A happy staff is a sign of good management. As my injuries healed, the Physical & Occupational Therapy (PT & OT) staff was extremely caring and helpful. Steve, Jim, and Gabriela, along with their staff assistants, helped me get ready to restore my walking ability when the Orthopedic restriction ended. I then progressed rapidly until I was ready to transfer to an in-patient rehab specialty facility to focus on restorative PT. The food was pretty good (for institutional food service) and the Social Services director (Samantha K.) was excellent at navigating all the insurance obstacles that seemed to appear every few weeks. In summary, I was very happy to do the majority of my accident recuperation at Stonebridge, and highly recommend it to others.

My wife was at Stonebridge Health Rehab, and that's bad. Security was very light. They gave everybody the passcode. Anybody could walk in there, and that's not very good. The facility was dirty. The walls had several different colors like white and blue, and there were splotches where it needed to be painted. Patients just walk around anywhere they want. They had an area for the residents to sit in, but they seemed to be all sitting right there in the front by the door. The staff was very nice though, and I liked them very much. They always let you know what's going on all the time. I tried their food because they had Thanksgiving there, and that was something special. Everything was good. I made a complaint to the health services on them. My wife escaped on the first or second day and made it out of the building. They told me that I had two and a half weeks to find a place for my wife to go to because they could not take care of her there anymore because they said they were closing their locked facility area up. I said, 'Well, what about all the other people? Are you going to move them as well?' They said, 'No, they're all fine. We don't have any problem with them running off or anything like that. Your wife is the only person that would be moved.'

Stonebridge Nursing Home is outstanding! The staff go above and beyond in every way—caring, professional, and attentive. If I could give 10 stars for the staff alone, I absolutely would. Highly recommend for anyone seeking excellent care for their loved ones!

Everyone is very friendly and attentive. I was visiting a friend and she told me that she loves the people here and I don’t find that hard to believe. They’re all very kind and caring. Thank you for taking care of my wonderful friend.

It's been our experience that the eye/teeth/hearing aid doctors this facility hires do not follow up with glasses, teeth or hearing aids for many weeks and, then, only after we complain. The facility bills thousands of dollars for therapy not given and the night shift are very slow responding to patient's calls (if at all) and will not take any action until they phone someone else for approval. They only call if you stay on them until they do! The facility does have games and entertainment but their $ allowed for this are extremely limited. I'm surprised the Activity Director does as well as she does! The facility is clean and the people working at the main desk are very helpful and nice but they are limited in what they can do by the people in charge of the facility. I wrote the patient advocate and never received a response except when I contacted another advocate who responded telling me the one working this facility was at a conference the week I wrote. I still never heard from her! But, compared to others we've seen, this one is still better.?.?.?
