Buda Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care

It’s very disappointing how little attention has been drawn to the unacceptable occurrences that have taken place at Buda Oaks recently. The facility has been broken into twice and residents items are being stolen frequently. I don’t know how a facility that prides itself on being a high quality living facility can allow such unacceptable behavior to continue without any call to action. If residents aren’t safe and their personal belongings aren’t being accounted for and protected then what are they paying for?? This is an expensive facility and it’s not worth the price these residents are paying.

My tour experience of Buda Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care was wonderful. It was very informative. We were able to tour the whole facility. It's small. They have a maximum of 66 residents and have lots of living room-type spaces for them. There's a library, an outdoor area, and a gardening area. It's home-like and very comfortable. The dining area looked very nice. They have a menu that is out. It has some standard things that are always there, and there's a main dish that changes. You can choose their main dish or you can choose from their standing menu. They had quite a good variety. I thought the units were quite nice and spacious. The staff who gave the tour was friendly and informative. I thought the place was fantastic. They had a PT room, too.

My parents will be moving into Buda Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care. I felt like it was very clean and fairly new. It was a good location for my family. We felt the stuff that was around it was nice. There are a lot of activities and a lot of accessible grocery stores and things to see and do. We felt that the community was well taken care of. They had a very nice outdoor courtyard for sitting. They tend to have a lot of activities that take place in the courtyard to get people outside. You get the fresh air. They did a really good job of bringing all their residents together to do various activities. It felt like a very good inclusive community. They encourage participation. I thought that was good for my parents. Everyone's super nice.
