Poor quality of service. My 76 year old friend was at this facility late October, early November. He told me the staff was slow to respond when he pushed his call button. At one point, the call button wasn't working. That got fixed, but the response time was still slow. My friend ended up soiling his shorts two or three times while he was there due to the slow response. My friend also said the food tasted terrible. After visiting my friend one afternoon, as I was walking toward the front door, an elderly resident looked at me and said something. I bent down so I could hear her. She wanted some help getting coffee. Three facility staff were standing within ear shot- one had her cell phone out and was showing something on her phone to the other two staff members. I told my friend that if he has to go to a rehab facility any time in the future, it definitely wont be this facility. And that goes for anyone else that asks for my recommendation.

Riverside is terrible!! DO NOT put your loved one in this place. I rarely ever get through to anyone and never a nurse. My mother calls with suicidal thoughts and I can't get through to anyone to check on her quick. I have only had two nurses that have been good and my parents have been there for seven years. I have called Texas Department of Again and Disabilities on them twice. The ignored my mothers vitals and she ended up in the hospital for two weeks and another time they did not renew my fathers pills in time and he went two days without them. I do not recommend this nursing home at all and am truly considering pulling my mother out. Again, I repeat DO NOT put your parent in this home.

My husband was at Riverside on and off for 5 months. The caring loving respect and help we received was excellent. The staff superb and the facility excellent. I have never met such caring people before. He was in another rehab center and we took him out as soon as possible. Everyone from the housekeeping staff to the director are really involved in a persons care. I just can't express my thanks enough
