"Verena at Leander was very professional. It was a very clean environment, very open, and airy. The staff was very attentive in showing us around. They spent two hours with us, helping us find the right location for Mom. The pool is amazing. The dining room seemed very comfortable and the rooms are very spacious and well decorated."

"My stepdad is at Maple Ridge. He has a therapist come in. It's very nice. Two couples from management live there on-site and you see them often. They have three meals a day, which are pretty good, and they get good portions. They have quite a few elevators. It's four floors and he's on the fourth floor. The dining room is beautiful, and it looks like you're at The Hilton. It's new and the grand opening was the week before we moved in. They have outdoor areas, a little fire pit outside, and walking path around the place. They have housekeeping once a week, a hair salon, a gym, a movie theater, a free ice cream machine, and activities."

"Marble Falls was OK. It's probably 35 miles from where we were living at the time. The rooms were double. The staff was good. I like the people's attitude. If they lived in that area, I probably would recommend them. "

"I have moved into Ridgemont Village Marble Falls. It's not a big apartment building. There are individual little cottages with an actual garage, and that's one level. I didn't have to move furniture or cart groceries up to a fourth floor. It just had a nice feel to it. I wanted a small town, I didn't want a big city. It isn't an individual cottage, they are Triplexes. There's three of them grouped together, but they are grouped together in a little cul de sac, so it doesn't look like row houses. It's landscaped well and just looks really nice. So far, I've only met the property manager. I haven't met the person yet, but the property manager was about as helpful as they come. I don't do much cooking; I eat frozen things and I go out. There is no food. I would say 90 percent of the residents are widows or single women, and most of them over 55. So, they have kind of a camaraderie here that is really nice. They get together for coffee just about every morning. They have prayer meetings together. They have canasta and card games, and the men have their own card nights. They have potluck dinners, but most of the activities are usually resident driven instead of activities director driven. The landscape is beautiful on the outside, but the insides are gated, and they haven't been upgraded in a while. It met all of the needs that I have, and the other things that I overlooked. In terms of the value for the money, compared to everybody else, I give that the highest rating."

"We were impressed with Arbor House of Marble Falls and my mother liked it. It's very nice and the apartments were very nice and well laid out. The amenities were very good. They seemed to have quite a few activities going on. The residents were very pleased with their care and facility. They were dining when we went there, and the menu looked good. It was a little bit larger facility but not very big."

"We chose Leander Station Senior Village for my dad because it was affordable. The staff is helpful. They don't offer food, but they have activities like bingo, a pool, and there's a game room. Their facilities are just really well-maintained and they have the amenities. It's located near a hospital and restaurants."
