"My parents moved into Mirabella Assisted Living. What I liked the best was the friendliness of the staff and the calmness. They were very friendly. It wasn't chaotic. They all seemed to be getting along with each other. The residents seemed very happy. It seemed like they had a relationship with the residents. It felt very homey. It just felt like it was a community, a community that cared about each other. The dining area is wonderful. We have eaten there twice. Once, we ate there while we were filling out paperwork, and then, the other time, we ate with my parents on their first day, and it was excellent food. They have plenty of activities, and something happens every day. I'm very pleased with the activities and the things that they have. I love their apartment. It's better than any apartment I've ever had when I was single. It's not a carpet, it's a floor, which I like better than carpet. Floors are easier to take care of. They don't smell after a while, especially if my parents become incontinent. It's a wood plank-type parquet floor. It's freshly painted. Everything was fresh. They have a full-size refrigerator. They don't have a full kitchen, but don't need it because they're provided meals."

"My mother is in the independent living area. She has a nice one bedroom apartment that is spacious and has a fully equipped kitchen. There are plenty of activities she can enjoy. It is apparent that the staff really tries to keep the residents engaged and active. The meals are well-prepared and there are multiple choices to select. We have eaten with her a couple of times and were pleased with the quality and serving size."

"The Ridglea Senior Living was awesome, but we just can't afford it. We really, really liked it. Everybody was happy there. The staff was all happy. The person I met, I really liked. It looked like the food was going to be good. They were doing activities, crafts, and different stuff when we were there. The rooms were large. The ones we were looking at were a pretty good size. The closets were good. I liked the way the kitchenette was arranged."

"My father moved into Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks. I recommended this particular one because of the price, and my sister agreed to it. The staff seems nice, and most of them that I've talked to have been in that field for a long time. One of their rules is no visitation for a month. They are decent-sized rooms. The common areas seem fine. They've got little group activities that they do in a little area. The building is kind of a big circle, and they have an outdoor courtyard. I have no issues with them currently."

"Brookdale Westover Hills salesperson Todd was very helpful. The pricing is high, but it wasn't as expensive as the one we looked at in Granbury. What stood out was the cleanliness, the decor, and the staff. When we were on tour, they would approach us and introduce themselves to my parents. We did go into the dining room, and what was impressive is that it was as if they were eating in a very elegant restaurant. They weren't eating on plastic plates or trays. That made a big impact on my mother. It made her feel important. She said they're eating on regular dinnerware, and they had linens on the tables. She was very impressed with the way they had it set up. The food looked delicious, and it smelled delicious, but we didn't have a sample. The studio was too small for Mom and her husband. They chose to look at the one-bedroom, and that was nice. It was doable, small enough where there was not too much space, anf they felt overwhelmed if they needed to pick up things. They had staff that did housecleaning, and that was going to be an option they're going to use, but they were pleased with the layout."

"We toured several communities, and decided on Bethesda Gardens Memory Care for Mom. Devin answered every possible question we could think of and offered extra information. All inclusive is a plus. When she gave us a tour, we could see that the Common rooms were spacious, bright and very clean. As were the residents rooms. Of course Mom was confused but the staff do an excellent job of interacting and reassuring the residents. Our family so enjoys talking with them as well. We visit Mom every day. We know she is cared for and safe. She is more animated and stimulated being around others. She enjoys sitting outside and looking at the beautifully landscaped garden area. Food is good and plentiful. Activities are varied and fun. Her favorite is the baby animals they bring in. We are very grateful to the staff at Bethesda Gardens and for all they do. I so highly recommend this caring facility."

"I toured The Grandview of Chisholm Trail. What I like best about it is that it's brand new. It's very nicely decorated and very clean. What I like about it is that it's huge. The staff seem very interactive with their clients. They knew all their names. The food was very good. They have many options for each meal. You had a choice of 2 or 3. It was a formal dining setting with crystal. The residents there are at a much higher level. The dining area has a wide open area with multiple small tables. It's very nice."

"My husband will be moving into Heritage Place Assisted Living in memory care. When you walk in, it's nice. Everybody was friendly. The lady I spoke with, Susan, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She has in turn contacted me a couple of times since to follow up. She's very good on the follow-up. She walked us through the back and introduced us to people and showed us where he would be. Like any facility, they're going to have to repaint the room because somebody just vacated it, but it wasn't run down. They had nice little areas like living room areas for people to sit around in and converse and visit. They had a very nice back porch. Also, it was close to the Spinks Airport and my husband was in Naval Air, so that's something he would enjoy watching the planes. I don't know about the food, but the chef came and met us and he brought us cookies, so those were very good. In memory care, there are not a lot of people, which is good. In the area where he would be, there's maybe a maximum of 35 people, so it was a more homey atmosphere. It had little living rooms and the dining area, there were tables set up. I like the fact that they can get flavored water and coffee and any of that kind of stuff throughout the day that they want. Some places don't offer that."

"Having my husband at Harvest of Aledo as a resident has been nice. When you put someone in a home like that, it's an adjustment for everyone and they have done well at learning who my husband is as a person, as well as his likes and dislikes, when he wants this, when he wants that. They've been very accommodating. He's in a room with a roommate, but there is a wall between them. So, it makes it feel a little more like it's your room and not sharing a room with another person. It's a newer facility. It's only two years old. Harvest of Aledo is owned by a company that has multiple senior citizen facilities throughout the United States and they've done a really good job. It's a beautiful facility and all the seniors seemed to be happy there. We just had a very large Thanksgiving dinner that they put on last Thursday, to which the families were invited. There were so many people who came that they had to have two different settings in the two big dining rooms that they had. So, that was nice. They've already taken my husband out on a field trip, too. They went and got cheeseburgers and shakes from a famous little shop out here in Weatherford. They loaded them all up and took them out there. They have a chef on board, so their meals are good."

"I was in Covenant Place of Burleson. It's assisted living and you have your own apartment. It was a very nice community. Everybody that worked there was very nice and helpful. They were very good. The food and the dining area were good. They have activities like bingo, they have singers come in, and they have a beauty salon and a TV room."

"My brother has moved into Mustang Creek Estates - Burleson and he loves it. I'm very pleased there. We like the way it feels like a home. It's not like a facility and he gets more one-on-one attention in a smaller group. It's just a better fit. The staff is great. I have no complaints. He's only been there a few weeks, but so far it's going well. He says the food is good. I've been there while they've been eating or they've been preparing the meals and it looks and smells great. He has no complaints about the food. Everything's in good shape. The furniture and everything looks new. It's freshly painted. They put a new carpet in his room before he moved in. I didn't see any maintenance issues at all. They have new appliances in the kitchen. They have several activities a day and he's been participating. It's the best of all that I shopped."

"I visited Bristol Park Eagle Mountain's assisted living, and it was very nice. I liked that one a lot. I would have preferred to go there, but their rooms are way too small. "I was able to see the memory care at Elk Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care, the dining room, and the front area. I like the people and the staff. They all seem very attentive to the residents. Even though my tour was canceled, the person who came out to talk to me wasn't the person who was supposed to give me the tour because she didn't go since she couldn't give it. She was very kind and she cared. The facility was clean and was very nice. Their dining room was clean, it was large and it looked like a restaurant. Everybody looks safe, there wasn't anything alarming to me when I was there. Someone walked towards the door and they just started talking to him, asking him where he was going, and then just kind of redirected him. But the doors are locked, so it's okay."

"From the moment we walked through the doors of Lake Country Assisted Living, we knew we’d found something special. The staff has compassion, professionalism, and genuine care—making both residents and families feel supported and respected. The environment is warm, clean, and thoughtfully designed to promote safety and comfort. My mother speaks so highly of the meals, and the caregivers gentle routines that create a sense of home. What truly sets this place apart is the emotional care. Every person here goes the extra mile. We are deeply grateful to the entire team for offering not just a place to live, but a place my mom calls home."

"My grandmother was a resident at this community & I cannot thank the staff enough for taking such good care of her. They took the time and patience to get to know her personally & that meant so much to my brothers and I. Her room was spacious and big enough to fit all of her loved belongings from home. They have plenty of activities that Granny enjoyed, especially the music entertainment! The food was terrific and the Chef always worked with Granny since she was so picky. Extremely grateful for the community"

"I went and visited Legacy Oaks of Azle Senior Living. I like it. The price point was great. It was much better. Everything was very contained, which is what I liked about that place. It was like one big square and then they had an open terrace area in the middle kind of thing. It seemed like a safe place to me, with just the way the building was set up. I also liked it because they had a little bistro. So if you miss dinner, you could just go get something ad hoc whenever. No smoking on this facility at all. And they would have to walk out of the premises, so that one might have to be a no-go."
