"I've been to Woodhaven Village a few times and was able to check on their assisted living and memory care. My mom has not moved in yet, but she will be there this May. The reason we picked this place was the residents were out and about, and they were happy. Other places seemed to be very hospital-like and too formal, but this really felt homey. It felt like you're in a nice hotel. The person who toured us answered every single question we had and even brought up stuff that I didn't even think to ask. She was extraordinarily helpful. I had zero concerns walking into it. We were able to look at the menu too, and they had a really nice and diverse menu. It was kind of a restaurant style, and they change the menu up every day. I don't remember exactly what was on it, but my mother was really happy with it. They have plenty of different rooms. There's always something going on there. It seemed to be a very active location, and there's a lot of good stuff. It's a beautiful place."

"Village Green really cares about the residents, and I feel that Mom is as safe as she can possibly be. Nothing is perfect, of course, but at VG they are willing to go the extra mile to help out with any situation. The staff are kind and are constantly training to learn more about caring for people with memory loss. They say that they are a "family," and I believe that is the way each resident is treated. So far, we're very happy with the care that Mom is receiving there. "

"We found Celestial Care for my mom. They have personal care, they take really good care of her, and they have low numbers. The staff is excellent, they have everything including doctors that come by and nurses. Her room is very nice. They have both a 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom, and my mom has a private room. She likes the food; they do home-cooked meals. They have taken them on trips."

"Live Oak is a brand new facility. I had a very positive visit with this facility. It's very clean and very spacious. It seems very warm and welcoming. The only negative about this facility is that because the place is so new, they have very few residents and I know that would not be conducive for my dad because my father needs a lot of activities and needs a lot of attention, but I would definitely recommend this place. "Seasons Assisted Living was a smaller home that was converted to a senior living place. It has both assisted living and memory care, which is what I like. It's very high-tech. There are cameras in all the rooms, and cameras all over the place. You have to have codes to get in and out. Seasons is great! It is a beautiful place. It is all renovated and all up to the highest standard codes. It is a small, home-type setting, and there are only 14 residents."

"I love Harmony Assisted Living. It was my choice for my brother. The location was very comfortable for a senior. It's immaculate. I liked the amenities and the services. I also liked the fact that they had med aides, each resident had a life alert, and the rooms were motion sensored at night. From an observation station, they could detect any movement in the room when the resident was asleep. It was very clean. They didn't have any cloth furniture. It was all leather and it's easy to clean. The place smelled magnificent."
