"I loved the Forum, it was large. It was a really nice community and you feel like you're in a little small town. I liked the fact that you can have different areas as your aging or mind progresses. You have the independent living and you can go into assisted or memory care. The grounds are beautiful and the food tables are nice and like in a cruise ship. The rooms were clean and spacious and the ones I saw have their own back porch which was nice. My friend there runs a beauty salon. You can get massages and your nails cut. That would be the place I would want to live. "

"The Landing at Augusta Woods Senior Living was a brand-new place. We just felt that it wasn't established. They were still adding things and just opening up, so they weren't complete on that, but it was a very nice facility. We're looking for a more established place. We toured the independent living. The dining facility, recreation area, and theater room were very nice. They had a snack area where you could get snacks and things. The rooms themselves were very nice. The staff was good. They were new, but they did answer all questions that we had."

"It was nice. I had a nice tour with them. The place was very nice, clean, and cheerful. I met the assistant manager, the dietitian, and the physical therapist. Everybody was so nice to me. They showed me all the rooms; some were single and some were shared rooms. The rooms were very nice. I saw their menu and they had very nice, balanced diet."

"My aunt is here. It's very clean. They got nice people and the residents seemed happy. I am impressed with everything that they offer."

"I saw Park Creek, and it's 5 stars all the way around. I wasn't able to see the rooms, they were all occupied, the staff was great, and the whole thing was beautiful, wonderful. The outdoors was gorgeous, there was a pool, an outdoor kitchen, it was wonderful. I saw the living room, an exercise room, a private room where veterans gather which is great, they gather for coffee in the morning. They also had an after-hours bar, and like a small Starbucks in there, where you can go and get something any time of the day. The menu was great, and the food options seemed out of this world."

"I don't want to say anything negative, but Village on The Park Steeplechase probably isn't where I would want to stay if I was looking. Everybody there was very nice though, and it looks like they serve meals, which is good. The cottages, with my friend being 90 years old, were too far away from everything. Everything close and within the main building is assisted living. They had garbage pick-up, and it looked like everything was well-maintained. We were only there for like 45 minutes so we didn't see a whole lot. We weren't there during mealtime so we didn't get to see any of that too. I think for people who are more independent, the cottages are fine. They also have closed-in garages, which I thought were nice. Everybody was very nice and wanted to help us. My friend is 90 years old and walked with a cane so they got a wheelchair to wheel her around. They were very accommodating. I think they played bridge and bingo when we were there."

"It looked like a good place. Everything was new. It's a fairly new establishment. The rooms looked spacious and clean. Everything seemed to be just what you might want. They did have amenities. The staff seemed to be good."

"We have my parents in Above & Beyond Assisted Living now. The staff is a great bunch of people and the home is one of the big private homes. The house is about 6000 sq ft and is just beautiful. They only care for up to 14 patients which gives them a little more one on one attention. They do homemade cooking for everybody that lives there and the food is really good. Financially and all the above, the location and the staff, it was best suited for us. I’m very happy with them. "

"I've moved into Woodside Manor Senior Community. I love it. I rarely see the staff. I see the maintenance guys because they also pick up the trash and they're nice. They don't serve food. They have activities, but I don't have a way to get around, so I haven't participated. The maintenance is fine. The floor plan is wonderful. Once we saw this area, we loved it. The housing is wonderful. I feel like I'm in a private house."

"I moved to The Reserve at Watermere Woodland Lakes. I was looking for a place and this may have been at the top of my list. It had good reviews online. I came by and I visited. They were very gracious. They gave me a complete grand tour and I feel very welcome. They have parking, and they have a very nice apartment. I put most of my stuff in here. They have a swimming pool. They have a recreation room where they play cards, dominoes, and checkers."
