"I toured Emerson Pines and I liked the location of it. It's very close to my work. The apartment the gentleman showed me was very nice. It's a one-bedroom apartment. He didn't show me much of the complex and I'm going to go back to see a two-bedroom just to compare and to see what else they have. It's an older facility, but it was clean. They have a place you can sit with a little putting green."

"The Village of Southampton was stunning. The views there are tremendous. You can see the whole city and can see downtown. The location is in the Rice Village at Rice University. There's a whole bunch of shops there. As long as we're able bodied, we can walk a mile or two. There's a lot of places that are within walking distance. That's the strong point of that one. The views are awesome. It's like 18 stories (or something like that), and all the apartments are just gorgeous. We've been there twice. They have exercise rooms, a swimming pool, and a lounge on the top floor. You could buy alcohol, snack foods, sandwiches, and stuff. The view is like drop dead gorgeous. There's an outside balcony that goes halfway around the building. It's stunning. The food was excellent. This is the best place in town."

"My husband is at Atria Westchase. I have no complaints. I have not spoken to him in detail about his experience, but he has had no complaints about the staff or any other aspects of his life there. He has been there for three weeks now. I chose it because it has all the amenities he needed. They had transportation, a studio apartment, and the location was good. Those were some of the features that were important to us. The staff was easy to work with. They have Covid restrictions for visits, so I haven't visited him, but I have been there to leave items for him and to pick up items from him. He is very comfortable there and he has never said one negative thing about the place. The people with whom I've interacted were very helpful, and based on what I have seen, the facility is OK. Compared to other facilities that provide the same services, I'm satisfied with the value for money."

"I have several friends that lived at St. Dominic Village. Everything is very nice over there. The room is very nice, refreshing, and homey. Everybody was very accommodating. The dining area was nice. They have games, music, and fitness."

"The one that I will ultimately go to is called The Abbey at Westminster Plaza. The thing that I like best about it is it's close to my son. He is about two miles away, so it makes it much more convenient for me. The people were very nice. The lady did show me all the amenities of the place. They did have activities. There was a large game room for various activities and a place for a little store for general needs. They have a beautiful indoor pool and a heating pool, which I need. They would provide three meals a day, seven days a week. It looked like a nice place to live. "

"Village on the Park Steeplechase was pretty good, but the price was a little bit steep. In terms of activities, I saw them in action there. The residents were together and playing cards. The room was good. Cleanliness was very good. There's a library there. The building was very nice."

"It is very nice. When you walk in, it didn't have a smell, which is good. The people are extremely helpful and very nice. It looks very clean, and we are very happy with it. My mom-in-law goes to church there, and she plays the piano which she enjoys doing. She gets her hair done once in a while. The food is really good, and the dining area looks beautiful. "

"We went to StoneCreek of Copperfield. We weren't that pleased with them. It wasn't very good, but it's very clean and the staff we met, I liked."

"I went to Copperfield Estates. The staff was more than helpful. That's the part I liked. They were very professional and very helpful. I love that. The rooms were a bit small because I don't have a whole lot of stuff, but my television is 70 inches, not small. So I can't see it sitting anywhere. And I have to have a large TV because otherwise, I can't see it. I'm legally blind. So I need something large. I looked at the two-bedroom. I like the fact that it was more space, but it was still very congested. I'm looking for potentially my care provider who may be a person that may be there with me. That's the problem. So, you sit on top of each other like that, there's no space for that. I'm a person who likes to work out, gyms, and stuff like that. They mentioned the stores, but I liked all of the recreational activities that they mentioned. I loved those outdoor things. I like that. So, those amenities, that was what was hard to part with because they had a lot going on. And I appreciated that because that keeps you moving and going. And me being early on diagnosed with glaucoma I want to have things to do so that I'm not sitting in the room thinking about glaucoma and your anxiety getting the best of you, depression getting the best of you. So, that helped me out a lot. That would help me. So I like that part. I like that."

"Cypress Gardens Apartments is a very good community. It seems like they have apartments, but not in the price point we're looking for. The room was very clean. They also have an elevator. Everything looked clean and very well taken care of. The staff members were very open, sympathetic, and very kind. They have a pool that is working, and then they have a common area where people can come in just to meet others. They also have a common place with computers where they can come and check anything if they need to."

"My wife and I visited Landon Ridge Sugar Land. The people and the place were very good. They showed us all the amenities and the things that they have. The finances seemed to be reasonable. The only thing I didn't like about was the landscaping didn't seem to be too good, but it was during this time of the year when everything was brown and nothing was green yet. So, that may explain it, but generally, I was favorably impressed. They have all kinds of activities. They have a good exercise room. The people were very friendly. The dining room and menu looked very good and the situation concerning the meals seemed to be very good. That was something that I liked."

"We looked at Conservatory At Champion Forest, and we liked it. It was a little bit far out of the way. If it wasn't for the one we were most interested in, we'd be interested in this one. We had lunch there which was quite good. The staff was very good. Overall we liked it."

"We looked at Ella Springs Senior Living Community, I liked it. The rooms seemed so much bigger than others we've looked at; for the price, they had walk-in closets and everything. It was clean and nice, and the food was really good. They had different choices for the food and everything. Everybody was nice, and the dining area was really good. There was a chef there and he brought stuff out, they had a menu for us to choose from and we all got to choose whatever we wanted. It's not like they served everybody the same thing, there were different types of food for everybody. I saw one lady watching in a movie room. They were fixing to start a movie, so people were going in there. The staff was very nice."

"I toured Atria Sugar Land. It was excellent. The staff was caring. The place was well maintained. It was a lovely place. The rooms were great size and spacious. The residents could pick their own dinner if they didn't like what was being served on the daily menu. They had lots of activities. The place was very well-lit, it had no odors anywhere whatsoever, and it seemed well-staffed. The dining area was a nice size and very well-lit. There were four to a table. The outdoor spaces were beautiful, too."
