"Paradise Springs is a nice place, and it is on our list of the ones that we're considering. We enjoyed it. The rooms were beautiful, and they were the biggest rooms. They had more space than the other two facilities we've visited so far. They had beautiful bathrooms, too. Everything was nice, and the cost was very reasonable. The staff members were all very nice and professional. The dining area was also nice. They offered a lot of activities, but not as many as we would be interested in."

"We love Woodhaven Village. It is a little farther than the other place, but it is closer to everything that my parents have. However, it is way too expensive. It was newer than the other place, but it was nice to look at. It's a community for seniors. I believe they provide three meals a day, and I think they also have the assisted living next to it. The staff who gave the tour was very nice."

"I toured The Lakes at Woodhaven Village. It's very well taken care of. It's gated. It has a great pool, not only just the pool. They have a hot tub and they also have laps where you can swim laps. There are all kinds of games and things. There's a coffee bar. There's all kinds of stuff. The apartment itself was very nice."

"I toured Heritage Tomball. It was very pleasant. I had a young lady named Mary. She was very straightforward, very polite, and very pleasant to talk to. She answered my questions. The reason I went back the second time was because my mom was asking for a different floor plan, and so I had only looked at it the very first time. They were very small, just a bedroom, which my mom did not want, so I went back a second time just to look at a bigger room. Mary was there and still once again spent plenty of time with me. I didn't feel rushed like I was with some of the other places. The only thing that I did not like was its one story and my mom is in a wheelchair. In order for her to get to whatever room she would be in the dining room is quite a waste. It's a very, very long hall. That's my only issue. So, I mean, that's not that big of a deal. She could probably call for help because it might take her a while, and she might miss lunch or dinner by the time she got there. The heritage seems to be reasonable, and Mary even said that she could possibly get the rental down even a little bit more for us, so nobody else had ever said that to me before. No complaints. The location is great, right by the hospital, and right across from my doctor's office, if she needs a female doctor or anything like that, and about 20 minutes from me. The facility didn't smell bad. Everybody was pleasant. The staff members that would walk by me would say hello to me."

"My mother is at The Wellington at Conroe. The staff is always so pleasant, kind and helpful. It's a clean place and the staff adores the residents there. I show up there almost every day and they're always nice to everybody. The food is awesome, although sometimes it looks like they're throwing something on the plate, but that didn't happen very much. If a client wants something different that day, then they'll make that. It seems like they can't keep a housekeeper, but the staff steps in and they do the work. I honestly think that they need more people. Every day, they have activities starting at 8:00 in the morning, like exercises. When I go up there, they're out playing games. They have the most awesome lady that does activities with their clients. They do bingo, dominoes, everything you can think of. They make crafts. They're good with my mother, and they change her."

"My husband will move into the Ella Springs Senior Living Community. The reason I liked Ella Springs is that they were Christians, and also, they seemed nicer and excited about my husband coming. Their activities were every hour. I noticed they would say hi to the other clients there. It was a better thing than the other places. The other places were a little colder and even nicer than Ella Springs, but they just weren't homey and really nice. The activities person, the director, the different things, the different people were just very warm and would show you things, and it was way better. They would welcome you to come and pick them up and take them home, or take them out for lunch, or something like that. They were very nice. I just liked it. If I were in that situation, I would like to stay there myself. The staff were outstanding. They tried to go the extra mile, and they were just excited about what they were doing and the activities. They have popcorn, movies, and karaoke. They said that my husband wouldn't be alone. They'd get him, take him to the library, and help him pick out a book. He wouldn't be by himself, wandering around. They would help him. They had awards on the wall for their meals, and I thought that was really good."

"I toured The Solana Preserve Vintage Park, and it was awesome. It was amazing. It just wasn't what we needed. I physically went in and I spoke with Sierra but we didn't go very far other than the lobby, the eating area, and the little bar area because sitting and talking with her, we realized that what my mom needed, the facility wasn't going to suffice, unfortunately. They were all very friendly, mild-mannered when you were speaking with them, very easy to talk to, eager to help, wanted to make sure that they were trying to find a way to meet my parents' needs, I thought that was great. It's beautiful. It's like a higher-end hotel. It looks like an amazing facility. It looks very nice when you walk in, it's very nicely decorated, and you're greeted by a nice person at the front desk. It's very bright."

"Carriage Inn - Conroe was very clean and very pretty inside. They were friendly and open with any questions. The structure of the building was nice. It was very clean and very pleasant. The rooms and its size were really nice, too."

"We went to Park Creek. We have already toured there and we're set up for another tour. We liked them, they looked quite nice. We were looking at the largest rooms, and we really liked the one they showed us, which was a corner, a first-floor corner that had a little patio that had a ramp. Instead of a step-down, it had a little ramp. I use a walker to get around and every once in a while a wheelchair (depending on distance), so for us, that ramp would be handy. We liked it. The food was quite good, we had dinner with them."

"My aunt is here. It's very clean. They got nice people and the residents seemed happy. I am impressed with everything that they offer."

"Village on The Park Steeplechase was very nice. It was a large facility. It had a lot of nice sitting areas. We looked at a studio-type apartment. It had a refrigerator and a microwave. It had a mini kitchen, so you could get snacks and stuff. The place was very nice, too. They had a lot of outdoor space. They had a very nice area with sidewalks and everything."

"It was amazing and the lady who gave us the tour was very helpful. They had a wonderful dining room, a chef who prepared their meals, and a guest room for family members when they come in from out of town where they can actually have lunch or dinner with you. If you don't want what's on the menu, they had a separate menu for sandwiches. They also had a little grocery store and pharmacy, washers, dryers, and craft room in the apartment complex. Their apartments were amazing."
