The Laurel at Vintage Park

I love The Laurel at Vintage Park. It's a nice place. They have four or five activities that go on throughout the week that remain the same all the time, but I do not participate in any activities. I just live in my apartment, and I have a caregiver who comes twice a week because I am disabled. This is kind of a laid-back place. They have bingo one night a week, and they have a card game in the morning at 10:00. There are people who participate in them and have a good time. They have a swimming pool, which is nice. Everything is nice around here. It just depends on what you like to do. I have a one-bedroom, and it is very nice and comfortable. I am on the second floor. I have a balcony that I feed my birds on, and I leave my door to the balcony open during the day to get fresh air and sunshine in, and I see the swimming pool. It is a very nice, comfortable place to live. It has a kitchen, a washer and dryer, and all that stuff in the apartment. I have no interaction with the staff. If I need something, I go down to the office. Only once since I have been here have I asked the maintenance man to come up and fix the bathroom faucet. I go down twice a week and get my mail out of the mailbox. I ride an electric scooter to go downstairs. If it weren't for finances, I wouldn't even consider moving. The staff is very nice. We just had a staff change here. We just got a new manager and a new leasing agent about a month ago. It is very nice and kept very clean. You see the maintenance people constantly working and cleaning. They clean the swimming pool every day. They clean the halls. They pick up the trash. They keep it spotless. It's a good value. The apartment is worth what I am paying for. If they raise my rent, I will have to move. I do not have any complaints about this place at all.

I toured The Laurel at Vintage Park. They had extra things like appliances, garbage collection, and utilities, which were extra charges, whereas, in other places, they were all included. I was not all that interested in activities because all planned activities are indoors, and I'm more of an outdoor person, but my wife might be interested in it. The rooms were okay.
