"When I was touring Cypress Woods I had to talk to the lady at the front desk for a while, and three people who lived there came up and she helped them. She was very friendly and everything was very clean. It looked newer. I didn't get to meet the person that does the hair, but I got to see the place for that. They took me around to everything, so my tour was very thorough. They have a place where you can have your dog on the first floor, and a little area where your dog can't get loose."

"Fountainwood at Lake Houston is very fancy pansy. It is very nice. It is a newer than the other facility. They provide three meals, but no snacks. And they have cleaning services once every two weeks. The apartments are large and very nice. There are lights coming in. They have lots of windows and kitchen areas with stoves and refrigerators. We had lunch there and it was very good."

"Enclave at Lake Pointe was nice and new. Anisha, who works in the office, was very helpful. The people in the customer service were accommodating and friendly. It was close to a lot of things like Walmart, grocery stores, and Whataburger. Especially for affordable living, my family thought it was pretty good. The only thing was they didn't have a washer and dryer in the apartment."

"My grandmother is doing pretty well at Ella Springs Senior Living Community. I like the price of memory care. The staff is really helpful. As soon as we got there, she ate and the food was pretty good. She enjoyed that and she hit it off with her roommate. It's really good and it's better than I expected. The food smelled and looked good. Another thing I liked, too, was where she's coming from had up to like 19 cases of COVID. Where she's at now, they haven't had a single case. They're a little lenient with visitation. I can visit a little bit more than I could at the other place. They have a beauty shop, a little game area, a little computer room, physical therapy, and exercise. I haven't had any issues. They're very easy to get a hold of. I have their direct phone number, so I text and just check on things right away. I haven't had any problems right now. It was pretty clean. They even let her use their furniture until I can get her furniture there. She's happy. I've talked to her and she's doing good. She wanted to go for a walk and they went for a walk with her. I don't know anything bad. She enjoys TV and bible study. She has a beautician there. She's been enjoying them."

"It was nice. I had a nice tour with them. The place was very nice, clean, and cheerful. I met the assistant manager, the dietitian, and the physical therapist. Everybody was so nice to me. They showed me all the rooms; some were single and some were shared rooms. The rooms were very nice. I saw their menu and they had very nice, balanced diet."

"I visited Paradise Springs. It was nice, and it looked very clean. They had a group doing something like singing. The facility looked good. It looked like everything was in one building compared to many other places with detached quarters. They have a game room."

"My mother moved into The Village at The Woodlands Waterway. The place is very nice. It's very close to restaurants and activities, and things like that. They have a lot of activities for the seniors there. The meals aren't the best. They're hit and miss. Sometimes you get a nice meal, and sometimes it's not so good. Other than that, the level of care is pretty good"

"The tour at Cypress Gardens Apartments was great. They were very nice and informative. We went from the office, up the elevator, down the hallway, and went through a two-bedroom apartment, and it was beautiful. They have games and stuff that they play in the lobby area or community area. They did have a pool and a trail you can walk down. The apartments have a balcony."

"My experience at The Forum at the Woodlands was very good. The atmosphere was very nice, and the rooms are average compared to others. The food was awesome, and the staff is very nice, helpful, professional, and friendly. There are a lot of activities available. They can improve on help or assistance because they had to be able to go up and down the stairs without assistance if they want a 1-bedroom; otherwise, they had to be in a studio, and we didn't like that idea. Compared to other place, price is good, and the location is very convenient because it was close to me. "

"The Conservatory at Champion Forest was newly remodeled, at least on the first floor. The apartments were bigger and they might have the same square feet as the other places, but they were built out better, the floor plans were better, newer, and they were completely remodelled. I liked the atmosphere. The people were very friendly. The menu looked good and the amenities were very nice."

"The Landing at Augusta Woods Senior Living is brand new. We were there as visitors and looked like it was well-managed. They have other places nationwide and I liked that everything was clean and nice. The rooms were quite good, especially the deluxe one-bedroom. It had a good amount of space, considering it's a one-bedroom. It had a smaller refrigerator and smaller counter space than the regular kitchen in a regular house, but that's not that bad. The dining room was very nice and the food was good. The service was a little slow as they were short on the waitstaff, but they're working on that. They have quite a few activities listed. Once a month, somebody comes in and gives lectures to them. The staff was very nice and very friendly, too. They have this little program called ambassadors. So, whenever somebody is new or visiting, they picked a person that was very akin to what you are going through or the kind of lifestyle you have. That's your person who kind of stays and hangs around you. Since we're both in the military, our ambassador was a man that was also in the Air Force. When everybody was coming into the dining room, you could see the tables with all the names. They wanted everybody to grab their own name and set it with them. So, when a new person was walking around, she could start seeing everybody's name and whoever she sat down with, the names of the people she was sitting with were right there. I thought that was nice."

"I have known about The Village at Gleannloch Farms. I watched them being built from the very start. It is really one of the finest providers that I have ever seen. It was really upper class, and it was really quite nice when we visited. I like the staff there. The food and the dining rooms were excellent. They have bistro and cafeteria-style, and then they have a very formal dining room. The rooms were fine. The only thing there was that their two-bedroom apartments were extremely small. They were only 600 square feet. They were not big enough for two people. "

"My wife and I are getting settled into our third month at The Conservatory at Alden Bridge. Overall, our experience has been positive. The staff, generally speaking, goes out of their way to accommodate the people who live here. There are about 250 residents. We have a 2-bedroom apartment that is very comfortable, very up-to-date, and well taken care of. They have on-site access to home healthcare and support from a couple of organizations, and it's close to a shopping center. A lot of activities are being planned within the community, like painting, a clothing program, exercise activities, and an exercise room. There are picnics at the park, luncheons every couple of weeks where they go out, and happy hour every day where they provide a couple of glasses of wine or cans of beer. People gather in the area known as the Safari Lounge with tables and chairs. They have people come in all of the time, like a band who comes to celebrate birthdays for the month. They have a full-time activities director who keeps things going. The food is average and institutional, of course, and I think the chef has a real challenge, especially with a lot of people who aren't very flexible about what and when they eat. This morning, we had breakfast, and they provided a whole variety of fruits and cereals, both hot and cold, and biscuits with egg and bacon. They always have coffee and juices. You serve yourself at breakfast, and then have one large meal the rest of the day. When I first came here, it was like going to a high-class hotel. We're quite pleased. Part of the fee includes a maid who comes by once a week to clean your apartment. The outside is also very well groomed and cared for. "

"Everything was really nice at Woodhaven Village as we toured it. It's fairly new; it's like two years old. It is very spacious, and it's everything I need. They have good parking. Overall, I would say it was very good. It was very clean. They have a game room, a business room, and a workout room."
