Cypress Woods was very nice. The people were friendly. I was actually looking at it for myself, but it was a little too much as far as what I wanted to pay. It was like $1,200 a month, and although my income is $2,000 a month, I still need funds to buy groceries and put gas in the car and stuff like that. It was beautiful. I loved it. The only drawback was paying $1,200 a month. That's a little too steep for my budget for a one-bedroom. If it was a two-bedroom, I could see paying $1,200. The overall visit was pleasant. I enjoyed it. I was actually looking forward to moving over there. Leslie was awesome. I love the way she talks. She has very good customer service skills. They seem to be more geared to helping seniors. They were kind and well spoken. A lot of people, because you're old, talk loud to you, like you can't hear or something like that, but they treated me like I was a person. If I could afford it, I would have gone on and took it. I didn't try the food, but they did show me the dining area. They're doing some remodeling and stuff over there, improving the property. I don't have anything negative to say about the property. It was beautiful. I don't have anything negative to stay about the people. I really enjoyed the visit, especially there were some ladies in the seating room knitting, talking, and enjoying themselves, and they made me feel welcome. They had a library and a gym.

We've chosen Cypress Woods because of the very friendly people, not only the management, but also the people that we met along the way. The food was delicious. It was a very clean and nice place. The apartment is a one-bedroom and it's very spacious, but it has no kitchen. They have different floor plans. They don't have any two-bedrooms available right now, though. They have bingo night, and that makes me happy. They have a lot of amenities. They always have something going on.

Cypress Woods is a beautiful facility. It was perfect for what I wanted for my loved ones. We had an appointment for 11:00, and nobody was available. We waited around. We had to stop some of the kitchen staff and tell them that we had an appointment, and they said, "We'll get somebody." We stood for probably about 45 minutes before somebody came. The apartments were small. They have no stove, just a refrigerator. Meals and snacks were included. The place looked like it would be good. Initially, they had told us they were going to serve us lunch, but they didn't. The girl was wonderful. She was really nice. She was great with the residents. It was everything I had hoped for for my loved ones, but they just couldn't afford it.

I toured Cypress Woods. Everybody was very pleasant and smiling, and all the staff seemed to want to help, caring. I saw one helping a guy get into his chair and directing properly so he wouldn't run over people. Everything was clean. It was very pleasant. I wouldn't mind living there, I just don't have the money. The staff showed me a studio, and it's not what I'm used to. I'm used to a lot more room. I thought it was small. She walked me through the dining room and shared with me the menu. The dining area was very pleasant, clean, and open, like a restaurant.

When I was touring Cypress Woods I had to talk to the lady at the front desk for a while, and three people who lived there came up and she helped them. She was very friendly and everything was very clean. It looked newer. I didn't get to meet the person that does the hair, but I got to see the place for that. They took me around to everything, so my tour was very thorough. They have a place where you can have your dog on the first floor, and a little area where your dog can't get loose.
