"Valley View Senior Living is a great place and it's super clean. My mom will have two rooms: a little living room and a bedroom. The staff is off the charts, from the top down to the maintenance man. They're really friendly, good, and they all look like they want to help. The activities director has a bubbly personality and they put activities up for the entire month. If you want to take advantage of the activities, you can, and if you don't, then you don't. The residents living there are very friendly."

"I visited Golden Palms. It was very good. They took the time on a Sunday because I happened to be there that weekend to give me a one-on-one tour of the entire facility. They're great at follow-up. They're very professional and very descriptive. The experience was very, very good. The staff during the tour was great at communication, professional and prompt. She's very resourceful in terms of her answers to all my questions. She was great. They had rooms of different sizes. This was a facility that does both independent living and assisted living and I got to see both sides. They probably had about 8 to 10 different floor plans, and I did get to see a good sample of those. Some of the rooms were more updated than others. They have a choice in terms of carpet versus floors. The appliances in the independent living (they don't allow them in assisted living as much) could be updated a little bit more, but everything looked clean and tidy. Maybe just some of the floor plans were a little bit more on the older side. I was pleased with the amenities. One of the biggest draws to me is that it seemed like they always had a lot of different things going on from outings to different themed events for holidays. They had game nights, and they had a vast array of a lot of different opportunities for people to get together, either as a group or smaller than a one-on-one. The calendar was very full in terms of things that people could do if they wanted to. They also have a pool and a trail around the facility that people can go on for walks. I like that aspect of it. It's not a luxurious place by any means. It's not a five-star resort type of place, but it's a wonderful facility. I was very pleased. The staff was great. They also have a rehab center and mom was there at the rehab center and she loved the food. I did get to see a menu and it looked like they had a lot of great choices. It wasn't just a fixed menu. They very much customize it based on special diets if you need that. That was pretty impressive. I wasn't in person when she was in rehab. I was there when she was in the hospital."

"While being at Spanish Meadows, the church members and I were treated respectfully and given full support to proceed with our program. The front desk secretary was very polite and helpful and the event coordinator was very grateful that we had come to visit and encourage the residents. Our service took place in the facilities' dining room and as it progressed the room was eventually over full capacity. The caring nurses kept bringing in more and more residents so that they would have a pleasant time. At the end we shared some gifts with them, and they were so thrilled that some hid their gifts to get more. As I was leaving the place I had the opportunity to come across a woman who was celebrating her 102th birthday. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Spanish Meadows, polite nursing staff, respectful residents, clean and updated facilities. The residents looked comfortable and well taken care of. I would certainly recommend this nursing home to a loved one. "

"I felt that the New Life Assisted Living facility will be giving my relatives independence and safety as well. It will meet their needs. The appearance of the place is excellent. It's only about a two-year-old facility, so it was well-kept. It appeared to be a really pleasant place for people to live. The staff that gave us the tour was very friendly and answered all the questions. I followed up with them a few times, and they guided me through the process and expectations during this time of searching. I didn't try the food. I reviewed their menu and their process for their meals, and it seems pretty good. They offer three meals and snacks. They have a security code as you go in, so not just anybody can walk in. So for safety, it's top-notch as you walk in. They offer suites for the tenants, so it doesn't look like a nursing facility; it's more of an apartment-style. They don't just have a bedroom. They have a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a large bathroom."

"Very unimpressive. We had an appointment. The place was clean but the rooms were depressing. Just painting the rooms/building would have been an improvement. There were no safe guards for the residents getting out into a busy area. The grounds were unkept and needed some TLC. Looked like old chairs were put outside because nobody wanted them anymore. The staff was out of sight for the most part. The only gathering area was as soon as you came in a door - flat screen TV and straight back chairs. The dining area was very homey. "
