"We toured Ariel Pointe of Sachse Senior Living. We loved this place, and the best would be the amenities and the staff. The facility is modern, new, clean, bright, and very nice. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly."

"We liked Silver Creek Assisted Living. It was very clean. We noticed a lot of the staff even though it was a Sunday. They were very active, were working, and dispensing medications. People were out. They were not just tucked away in their rooms. There seemed to be a lot of activities going on. For a Sunday, we were very impressed. The rooms were small, which we expected. This facility has a respite room where we could pay and have my mother-in-law there if we want to go out of town or something. It's like a hotel if you will. It had a bed, a recliner, a TV, a mini kitchen, closet space, and a bathroom where you could walk into the shower and not have to step way over something to get there. It was big, so if you had something to sit on, you could shower that way if you wanted to. It was roomy. If you have a walker or you're in a wheelchair, it is all very compatible. The staff was very friendly. The gentleman that took us on a tour was not his regular job. When we got there, he was behind the main reception desk and then it was already planned because someone else came and went behind the reception desk when he took us on a tour. We had a great follow-up from the salesperson that set this all up. She was out of town that weekend. It was fabulous how well they all communicated and were able to back each other up."

"I visited Brookdale Club Hill and toured their independent living. Everybody was super nice, and the people I met were so wonderful. There was a gentleman who was over a hundred and a World War II veteran. I got to meet him, and he was super cool and very nice. I also met a nice lady in the crafts room who gave me a little present. It's just kind of magical. I've made a lot of friends there. The rooms were plenty big. I've seen some other places that just seemed way too small, but this was not. The grounds were great. The pool needed to be cleaned, but I just walked in there, so I don't know what the schedule is. It wasn't disgusting or anything. It just needed to be clean like pools in Texas do. I dined there, and I thought the food was good."

"My aunt has been a resident there or 10 months. I can't say enough about to patience of the leadership and staff. The facility is very nice and the individual rooms AR very nice as well. There are a lot of activities for the residence and everyone seems to enjoy the meals. I've been very happy with my decision to place my aunt that New Haven."

"My wife is in Long Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care. It's outstanding, beautiful, well laid out, and very secure. The staff is wonderful, and the facilities and everything they provide are outstanding. They have church services, games, and an exercise program. The food is excellent, and they've have a wide variety of choices. They tailor it to whatever the person likes or enjoys. Its' well prepared and done by a chef, and the portions are more than enough."

"My wife has moved into Pegasus Landing of Forney. She's in memory care. I think the best thing so far is the people who work there. They've taken an interest in her, and they're trying to make her settle in. It's very clean and neat. She's been there just a little over three weeks, but I think they've got good round-the-clock care, getting her ready for bed and getting her up in the morning. She seems to be taken care of. Her medicines are taken care of properly. So far, so good. The staff has been really good. I've not participated in the meals so far, but they look pretty decent. The memory program uses the same area for about everything. It's not a separate area. They just make sure that everybody's cleaned up and ready to go to eat when it's time. They're gonna do some remodeling in the area where my wife stays. The activities I've noticed have been coming up with words and a relative theme, like words you use at Christmas or words you use at Easter, or something like that. They have a beauty shop. I like the fact that the doctors specialize in that area, so we don't have to go to doctors anywhere else anymore."

"I am going to move to Lynridge Assisted Living next month. It was only 10 years old and it's nice. Everything was well kept up. They had an enclosed interior courtyard and it looked like a very pleasant place to live. The 1-bedroom apartment was too small, and I had to get a 2-bedroom apartment just to be able to get in there. It had a full-scale refrigerator and a sink, but you don't cook there because they provide you with 3 meals a day. They had all sorts of entertainment there. They had a very nice dining room and they served me a very good meal."

"The staff really seems to care. The place is brand new, so it is very clean. The staff is great, really excited to get everything going, pay close attention to everybody who comes in. My mom doesn't have any complaints. It is a very positive and happy environment. "

"We were so happy with Cambridge Court. Everyone was very helpful and caring. They did all they could do for Mom in trying to accommodate her in everything. I was just very happy that she was there for the short time she was there. The facility was beautiful and they took care of everything. It's just wonderful. The food was fantastic. They had bingo, people came in and sang for them, exercises, Bible reading, all kinds of games, and music."

"My cousin will move into Bradfield Terrace. It's a little studio. It's nice, lots of natural light that comes in, and clean. It's kind of like just what she needs. There's nothing overly fancy, and it's not dirty or anything like that. It's just a nice cozy little place. They had a little cafeteria area, and I saw the other mini fridge with some snacks and stuff in there."

"I toured Brookdale Lake Highlands. I like the fact that it wasn't like a big facility because I don't need to have him in a big place. The person that I met with, Hailey, took me on a tour. Everything was nice, she explained everything, and then let me know if I had any questions because this was the first time I'd ever done this. Everything seemed great. They're accommodating to everything that I was asking, just certain things to keep my dad in his same routine. She was very informative, nice, and pleasant to talk to. My dad's on a special diet, and he's on a vegan diet. I asked if they could make sure that they were able to just accommodate him. It's not anything like crazy. He just doesn't eat meat, chicken or pork. I said, 'He's happy with scrambled eggs and potatoes every day if you let him. It's pretty simple. He just doesn't eat anything outside of that' and they're like, 'Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem.'"
