"My mother in law is a current client, and the services are horrible. my father in law share the room with her, and before cleaning anything she ask if he uses this space because then she doesn't have to clean it. They have a dresser in the middle of the room and she wipes half of the (top) of the dresses, because its half on his side, even though my mil has her stuff in the dresser. my mil have to remind her to clean, she doesn't take initiative to do anything. when she uses the kitchen to cook, doesn't clean after herself. she doesn't like to clean. she is on her phone watching videos and etc. we compliant but the rude person visited her, and she (care taker) got lazier, and did less work then before. she calls out, when told to let us or agency know before so substitute can be arrange, but they never have anyone to come and help her out. I'm very disappointed, Sadly agency ( or mil's insurance) is paying her to sit in the house and do little work. when told to clean properly, and work she cries and say I cant. wish they had a negative ratings too. "We got the services from American Home Care as suggested by our physician. We have been using their services for about a year and we have been pleased. The workers from the agency were friendly and outgoing. A therapist came in twice a week to help my husband with the light exercises. A nurse came in once a week for his medications refill. I would suggest though that they send the same person if possible. "

"Is this the company that you want to trust with your care? Earlier in the week, I was assigned Senior Select Home Health agency by Care Centrix who contracts with my insurance company. They claim that they told my insurance that they could not staff the order, so they would not be providing me with nursing care. Since they did not have the common decency to contact me, or return my calls all day Friday I wasn't ever informed. When this has happened previously, Care Centrix has notified me within hours. I was even hung up on by their staff. They couldn't figure out who I was when I called attempting to figure out the mystery of the missing Nurse and then they didn't know why I wasn't on their client list - BIG mystery now. I am now left without a Nurse, just prior to a weekend and I am homebound. One was supposed to come Wednesday, I should've had labs Thursday, and Friday (TODAY), I need a dressing change. I can't begin potentially life-saving antibiotics until my blood work is done, so now I will most likely end up in the hospital due to their irresponsibility. So, do you want to leave your elderly loved one in their care? I wouldn't let them pet sit for me. "
