Growing older can be difficult and so can the care of a loved one. We have a 91-year-old father that needed help every day with dressing, showering, cooking, shopping and house cleaning, and the nurse help. I discovered Veritas Home HealthCare by our friend’s recommendation. They seemed to get a lot of 5 Star ratings, so I gave them a call and talked there to Olga L, and she has done everything to ease my worries and stress in taking care of our father. The nurses are just wonderful, gentle and supportive as our time schedules and needs shifted. we have had the same nurse assistant for the past two years. Marina M. is fantastic! Professional, reliable, and warmly courteous. Gretchen is a therapist. She engages our father in a manner that recognizes dad's intelligence. She also knows how to respect his privacy, never over-stepping, super professional. Marina M. and Gretchen J - they are loving and caring people, they really are! There is no way we could have done it without them. You have earned our respect, trust and gratitude. Veritas has been there for us with ethical, caring and supportive caregivers and staff. As a social worker for a nursing home/Rehab facility, I refer to this agency as often as possible. They go the extra mile and provide excellent service. They hire their own therapits and do an super job of helping our patients to improve his/her functional status in their own home. Veritas HH has a monitoring program to help prevent re-hospitalizations for our heart and COPD patients. This is an important focus of the various hospitals in the Dallas area. Veritas will even send out a representative to speak with our patient when he/she is nervous about having people come into their home. Overall, they get an A+
