They also offer occupational therapy and assistance with things you can no longer do, like bathing and toileting, which I don't need help with yet. The therapist I have right now is very knowledgeable about my problem and is very good at follow up. If there is a change in time or something, she always let me know well beforehand. "Is this the company that you want to trust with your care? Earlier in the week, I was assigned Senior Select Home Health agency by Care Centrix who contracts with my insurance company. They claim that they told my insurance that they could not staff the order, so they would not be providing me with nursing care. Since they did not have the common decency to contact me, or return my calls all day Friday I wasn't ever informed. When this has happened previously, Care Centrix has notified me within hours. I was even hung up on by their staff. They couldn't figure out who I was when I called attempting to figure out the mystery of the missing Nurse and then they didn't know why I wasn't on their client list - BIG mystery now. I am now left without a Nurse, just prior to a weekend and I am homebound. One was supposed to come Wednesday, I should've had labs Thursday, and Friday (TODAY), I need a dressing change. I can't begin potentially life-saving antibiotics until my blood work is done, so now I will most likely end up in the hospital due to their irresponsibility. So, do you want to leave your elderly loved one in their care? I wouldn't let them pet sit for me. "

They have had a couple of people out here that just really seemed to know when to push his button and when not to. They've been extremely great; we've been just thrilled with their attitude. "Loving Hands is reasonably priced. We haven’t been able to find anyone that is matching our budget for our dad but this care giving service. We have been dealing with them for almost a year, and their services could be better. We are hoping for consistency with the same person and a person who is more skilled or a little more qualified. I don’t mind the age of young, but I want somebody responsible and somebody who will not just babysit but will interact with my father conversation-wise, kind of something like a match. When they send someone out, sometimes they match well, and then the person that matches good only stays for about 2 or 3 weeks and then they are gone. We had an older lady come in and she had ear piercing, a nose ring and a few tattoos, but she was skilled, and she knew what she was doing. And then, we get the younger ones, who are under the age of thirty, and they are tattooed up but are not skilled. They are on the phone all the time and not trying to take care of him, but treating him like he is a 5-year-old. They are trying to babysit him, and he doesn’t need a babysitter."
