Is this the company that you want to trust with your care? Earlier in the week, I was assigned Senior Select Home Health agency by Care Centrix who contracts with my insurance company. They claim that they told my insurance that they could not staff the order, so they would not be providing me with nursing care. Since they did not have the common decency to contact me, or return my calls all day Friday I wasn't ever informed. When this has happened previously, Care Centrix has notified me within hours. I was even hung up on by their staff. They couldn't figure out who I was when I called attempting to figure out the mystery of the missing Nurse and then they didn't know why I wasn't on their client list - BIG mystery now. I am now left without a Nurse, just prior to a weekend and I am homebound. One was supposed to come Wednesday, I should've had labs Thursday, and Friday (TODAY), I need a dressing change. I can't begin potentially life-saving antibiotics until my blood work is done, so now I will most likely end up in the hospital due to their irresponsibility. So, do you want to leave your elderly loved one in their care? I wouldn't let them pet sit for me.
