"We used a different provider and we had some personal issues with them. The timing of Legacy at Home was good and so we switched over and started using them. It was also easier having them on-site. The care has been great. There's always a transition from the person needing the care to accepting people giving them the care. They used to be living independently for years and now they need people to help them. My parents are not always the easiest people to get along with so have to cycle for a few people. The people that we are with now are outstanding. "

The only thing I don’t like about them is that they don’t provide any kind of rehab. The nurses check her out and bathe her. They are very nice to her and kind. The RN visits her weekly, the nurse's aid visits her 3x per week, the social worker visits every couple of weeks. They procured the necessary essentials, needed medications, and invaluable companionship visits. "

"The director has been our nurse for many years. She always calls before she comes and is very thorough as she checks both my husband and myself. She always asks if we are on any new medicine and for any reactions. She records our doctor visits and the new medicines. When my husband became very sick, I called her and she came right away and checked him carefully. She gave me some recomendations to help him. That time she did not recommend going to the hospital, but the next time I had to call her she did have me take him to the hospital. She also calls the doctor to ask to have medicine renewed or for special services we need. "

"My mother in law is a current client, and the services are horrible. my father in law share the room with her, and before cleaning anything she ask if he uses this space because then she doesn't have to clean it. They have a dresser in the middle of the room and she wipes half of the (top) of the dresses, because its half on his side, even though my mil has her stuff in the dresser. my mil have to remind her to clean, she doesn't take initiative to do anything. when she uses the kitchen to cook, doesn't clean after herself. she doesn't like to clean. she is on her phone watching videos and etc. we compliant but the rude person visited her, and she (care taker) got lazier, and did less work then before. she calls out, when told to let us or agency know before so substitute can be arrange, but they never have anyone to come and help her out. I'm very disappointed, Sadly agency ( or mil's insurance) is paying her to sit in the house and do little work. when told to clean properly, and work she cries and say I cant. wish they had a negative ratings too.
