"The reason why I chose The Chateau is because it had an attached garage, and it also had solid flooring. There was no carpet and no need to make any changes. All the entryways were handicapped-accessible, and it also had no need for a cutout in the tub. It was a walk-in shower, which was huge. Their apartments were bigger compared to the other place I saw. "

"I was very impressed with Pioneer Ridge. It was new, appeared to be well-run, and the residents seemed happy. We spoke to the residents; they liked the facility and the food. The dining facility was bright and cheerful. The manager who gave the tour was very knowledgeable. "

"I have been living in The Conservatory at Plano for six years. I love the place and recommend it highly. It is wonderful. The food is wonderful. I have my own apartment with a full kitchen, a bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom. It is very nice. They also have two-bedrooms with two bathrooms available, but I have the single one. They have so much activities, but I just cannot do them anymore. "

"The staff here at Atria Canyon Creek is wonderful. I am on a gluten-free diet and the kitchen staff makes sure I get decent gluten-free meat, vegetables, and often fresh fruit or something for dessert. For breakfast they have actually bought gluten-free bread and made me gluten-free toast, so they have gone out of their way to make sure that I'm getting the calories that I need. The chef has even come out and talked to my daughter, when she was here, and we were having pot roast, mashed potatoes, and broccoli florets. It was absolutely delicious and I'm very happy here. The staff at the front desk takes your packages and puts a note in your cubby to let you know you have a package. They are just all wonderful. It's really nice. When you walk into your apartment you're in your little kitchen, and then you're facing your living room, but your bedroom is off to the side where people can't peek in there. So, I like it a lot. They make two meals a day for me, and I have my own little kitchen to heat up frozen food, or make my own food if I want to. All the staff are friendly and helpful. They have a van service that takes you to doctors' appointments if it's within a certain boundary. We actually have a theater to watch movies, and a game room. I'm on the third floor, and the game room is just around the corner from me. They play dominoes. The other day, we were playing beach ball volleyball in the big recreation room, so they keep us busy. Then we have walking groups. If you want to go outside and walk, they have a team member that goes with you. The lawns are well-kept. Some of the sidewalk or something has lifted up or fallen in a little bit, but in two or three days that's repaired. It doesn't take them long to get anything that they're concerned about. Since I've had my parents in some senior living before, I would say the value is top dollar here, especially with the fact that you get two chef-prepared meals every day."

"The administration in Sunrise was very helpful. It's very nice. My mother's moving there next month. "

"My parents lived at Parkview in Frisco. It worked out OK. My dad was in the memory wing and he escaped one time and it took them a while to realize he was gone, but they did well other than that. The place was very clean, and most of the time the meals were pretty good. My parents were there for five months. They had stuff for them to do and they were trying to keep them both involved. They had outings for them too. Most of the staff was good."

"Apartments are very nice and safe. Residents are very friendly and look out for each other. All the staff are delightful to be around."

"I'm at The Wellington at Arapaho. I like the care and how they're handling things whenever they're called on. I think they're really wanting to help people. The staff is very considerate and helpful. When they're asked to do something, they come out and they take care of the situation pretty quickly. It might be a little while, but they will respond to your call. In general, they have problems like anybody. I think they're trying to get better and improve themselves. They're very caring. Whenever you have a problem, they come in and try to clean it up as quickly as they can. There's basketball, bingo, and many different things. They want people to come out. They do present it in a way that people are, "Hey, I want to do this." I participate in a lot of the activities here. Value for money would be high. You get your money's worth. This is a very nice location and they try to meet your needs."

"I chose The El Dorado for myself because of the location. I liked how it's laid out. The atmosphere suits me quite well. The rooms are very nicely sized. The studios are big. I felt like I belonged there. The dining area is very much like an upscale restaurant."

"My father-in-law was in Atria Carrollton. They were wonderful there, he stayed two weeks there before he passed away, but they were really, really nice. I would highly, highly recommend it. I would highly recommend Anne, the lady that helped us in the beginning; she was also wonderful. They were doing in-room stuff for activities because of Covid, but very little. They took him to the porch, and he loved that."

"Beautiful facility. Spacious rooms but the very best part? The Memory care Dorector and the Avtivity Director oh have so much love for my Dad and all the residents!! These wonderful women treat him like family. Love the care and attention thus far! Dad enjoys gardening and bowling and discovers new opportunities weekly! "

"I toured The Reserve at North Dallas. The apartments were very new, with huge closets and big rooms. The kitchen was very nice with some granite countertops. They had some good choices of food. And if you didn't like what they were serving, they had other food available for you that you could get, kind of what they always have. The outside was nice. The places, community rooms, and community spaces looked nice, along with all the activities they provided, and there were lots of choices. The staff who gave the tour was very nice, had lots of great information, was very friendly, and took the time. The residents were nice. Some of them were sharing their stories and what they liked about them. So, that was good too."

"I went to Emerson at Rosemeade Park. It was very large, very clean, and very comfortable. They have games and recreation. I thought it was nice. You could eat in your room if you didn't want to go to the dining room. They have like a studio available. I think for what they are charging, it's too much. All seniors can't afford that. For the cost, I think the room was small. As for activities, they have a pool table, and if you like games, you could games. I thought they were very nice and considerate in trying to get me one of the units. But you have to look at the fact that you have to pay a $500-deposit to get them to hold them. It's like a security, but it's like you're paying a whole cost upfront besides the cost, like an administrative type fee. It's already expensive, so you're almost doubling the cost to move in. It was too expensive. However, the staff was very good."

"Preston S. and staff were wonderful and caring with my parents. Moving was very difficult, especially for my mother. Preston and staff came in, took care of minor details that needed to be addressed in apartment, finished helping mom unpack and hang up clothes, hooked up TV to cable, and more. Brookdale Club Hill went above and beyond to help my parents move so much easier! What a wonderful place and many thanks to all! "
