I went here. The people were very, very nice. It looks more like an apartment building than it does a 55-and-over type of building. I thought the meeting rooms were very, very nice, but the apartments were not nice at all. I was not pleased with them, they were small. The grounds were not very well tended as far as landscaping. It was not very attractive. But I really liked the lady who toured me around. She was very nice. There was no food there. But inside the building, it was very clean. The apartment that I was shown had not yet been cleaned. It had stickers all over the outside door. It wasn't very impressive. Also, I didn't care for all the outside walking required to get to the living spaces. The atmosphere was very welcoming though. In fact, one lady came up to me and said, 'You'll love it here. I've been here for several years and I really like it.' But I had to choose one of the less expensive apartments, and I wasn't given the choice of seeing anything that was really nice.

The apartment was good. They have a dining area or social area that is very good. The staff was pretty good, too. It looked like a friendly place. It wasn't anything fancy, but for somebody on the budget, it was decently sized for a small one-bedroom apartment, a basic one. The dining area was quite spacious.

It was beautiful and had so many resources you can use. The people were beautiful and wonderful and they had lots of activities. They take good care of their community and the people there. They seemed to just be on top of what they did. They had plans and good security. You don't feel like you have to go out, because everything you need is there, and there are stores around. If you need to go out, you don't have to go far. It seemed like a home away from home. You don't even think about your family much because there's so much to do. Everybody made me feel welcome when I came in. There were smiles everywhere, and nobody seemed like they were down and depressed. I thought I was going to be walking into a sad place with a lot of people who would likely die and who are old and outdated and things (although people have health problems and things there), but it was kind of the opposite. It was what I was looking for. There's an exercise room and things to kind of keep my mind afloat. The staff communicated very effectively with me and my daughter. They were very, very professional and friendly and pleasantly conversed with both of us. They followed up with me and everything was very nice. I think the only thing I didn't like was some of the places they showed me were absolutely too small and too expensive, and the ones that I liked were too much out of my price range. I didn't taste the food, but I saw the person in the back cooking, and it looked like they had a nice area. They had a chef making gourmet-type dishes for them. I'm sure they were pretty expensive, but that's the way they do every day. They have someone there, preparing the meal so you don't have to go out so you can eat nice meals every day. They had a nice library, a nice gym, and a quiet area you just go to to sit and meditate. It's got beautiful scenery. Outside of the area, you can walk and just feel comfortable. It was pleasant and large. It was an absolutely gorgeous place. There's a lot of trees. I told them I like gardening and they had areas available where I could do that on my own.

We toured. I wasn't too impressed with them. It's rather small, but it's very attractive. The security gate, which they said would work, was never working. We've been there at least three times, and we could never see the security gate (which was sort of by remote) had worked. The unit was a little too small for us as seniors. The community was very nice because they had an elevator, and we liked that. But parking security at night, we didn't see that it ever operated properly, so we were apprehensive about making an application. They seemed to have most amenities that one would expect. It's just that those issues there with the security of parking and the size of the units were a bit of a concern, and that's what turned us around.

Everything is an overwhelming positive here: my apartment, the delicious food, planned activities, accommodating staff, gratis transportation anywhere, overall atmosphere and feeling of safety.

I already moved in. I love it here. It's a wonderful community. Everyone's very friendly. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is wonderful. I give it a ten plus plus plus. It's a beautiful place to live. Everything is wonderful here. It's great. They have a restaurant here and the chef is very good. You can't ask for a better area. We're right in the middle of everything. It's one of the reasons I chose it because it is very centrally located for shopping and groceries. It's very well planned. They have swim class, art class, happy hour, bingo, Keno, card playing, and poker. The amenities available here are endless. They have outside activities. They have a bus here, and they take us to different activities as well as to needed appointments.

We live here. Through the pandemic we've had good leadership. We lost some of the special activities that we had before the pandemic, but they're coming back now, so that is good. My wife and I do our own cooking, so we do not use the kitchen facility here very often, but when we have eaten here, the food is excellent. We especially like the summertime activities around the pool. They also have exercises in the pool, which are very beneficial. This time of the year they still have exercises every day available for everybody to participate if they choose to. Other than that, they have entertainment periodically. The entertainment we have is probably typical of what they have at many other places, but we enjoy it. They have enough that we don't feel like we are neglected. The staff members are fine. The other staff has been fairly stable, except for one buyout that occurred while we were here and we had a complete change of staff, but that was several years ago. This past winter, many of the old shrubs and so forth were frozen out, and they have not been replaced yet. Other than that, it's in good shape. We are not sorry we came here. As with anything, sometimes you're not as happy as other times. However, generally, it is excellent.

It had a lot of activities. Their calendar was always full. They have a theater, different game rooms where people play cards and bingo. The dining room had tablecloths and it was very nice. The person who gave us the tour was very thorough. She explained everything that they have and what they do and answered all our questions. She was very, very good. We saw about three or four different apartments and they were all quite large. It's like they made two apartments into one. It looked very good. They've gone in, refurbished, and remodeled all the apartments too. They also have a dog park where I saw a lot of people walking their dogs.

We toured. The grounds are very pretty. It's very wooded, very grassy. I would probably say that if someone had any mobility issues, they might find it challenging simply because there were sticks and acorns and things like that on the sidewalk, that I would be afraid that maybe a senior with mobility could trip or slip. They had one building that acted as a community center, and that's where all happenings and everything took place. They do have a full-service cafeteria and the menu seemed outstanding. It was the higher-price of these three locations. They appeared to have more utilities included in their base price so that it was not all ala carte. But what we did find is depending on which apartment you pick, the price will go up because you want a renovated apartment. So if you wanted a renovated apartment, then the price would go up. If you wanted to eat meals, there was a price for that. If you wanted to attend activities, you had to pay a fee to attend individual activities. And so while it was a higher price than we thought it would be more all-inclusive, there were a tremendous number of add-ons that my mother would have had to pay to take advantage of the services. And I did not like that their apartment, If you wanted an apartment in the central area, it was like it felt like a bait and switch on the pricing and the fact that you had to pay extra for a renovated apartment, that was kind of only bringing it up to standard with the other places we looked at, I felt was inappropriate. They had a fireplace, which was lovely, but it was Wood who would put a wood-burning fireplace in a senior apartment. It seemed very irresponsible. So anyhow, I mean, the staff was very nice, I'd give the staff a five. They had a security director, so I would say that it was the most secure of the three locations that we visited. And again, I think the food would have been lovely, but the pricing in the ala carte component of it and everywhere we turn, there was an incremental spend, really deterred us from considering them. Oh, also because of the recent freeze in Texas, we're all very aware of what electricity grids are on, it is not on a hospital or fire grid, because their electricity did go out when we lost power and service in February.

One of the things I liked was that they had a chef there who could prepare meals for special needs. I talked with him, and he was very great. He could even do some gluten-free stuff, which is what I'm interested in. I was impressed with that. They had a beautiful library there. I liked the layout of the apartments. They're very good. There were some attributes at that place that I really liked better than some of the others. I liked the fact that in the kitchen, there was a pantry and that gave you plenty of room to put things. There's also a washer and dryer in the same area. They also had a nice walk-in closet there. The thing I liked the least was I really wanted a place with an indoor hallway; that way I can go for walks every day indoors because I have allergies. Otherwise, it was top on my list. Everything was great over there. The staff was great. I love the people and what I liked the most was the layout there. The facilities were good.

I went here. They had a really nice setup. The apartments were nice, they had lots of amenities for older people, and there were pretty much active adults there, too. However, it was like a 45-minute drive from where my daughter was and pretty much away from where I wanted to be. The price was pretty good; I didn't have a problem with that. It was just a little far away even though it was a nice location and a nice building. They had a dining hall, and when I was there, they had a group of seniors sitting around talking and having a good time. They were having cheese and drinks while I was there and they said hi to me. The lady who showed me around was really nice. I hated to have to call and tell her that I wasn't going to take it because I really enjoyed my trip. It's a 2-story complex, but they didn't have any elevators. The facility was older, but still nice. The rooms were nice and spacious, and I liked them. The only problem that somebody else might have with them is that they didn't have any elevators to get upstairs for people that were in wheelchairs or walkers.

It is beautiful. They have ala carte dining. They have a fitness center and a swimming pool. They do a good job on the upkeep of the place. The staff members are accommodating and friendly. The appearance of it is very good. It is gated and there are garages available. It is centrally located, too. It is older but very well kept. This is the one that has everything that I needed.

They had a lot of walking trails, and they're thinking about putting in a dog park. Our visit was excellent. I saw one of the apartments, had lunch, and saw activities happening. I would move there in a second if I could afford it. They were playing cards and explained the shuttle bus that will take people to the store.

It is one of my top choices among all that I have visited because the apartment has a full kitchen and a washer-dryer connection. They have a lot of activities on their calendar and an outdoor pool. It is near a lot of public transportation, so it's convenient to the shopping areas and restaurants. They provide meals at the facility.

I visited and it was nice. It was more like an apartment; everything was separated. You have to go outside to get to the main building. The staff was nice. The rooms were clean and they have full kitchen.

I had two tours. It's very good. The first time I took a tour, they didn't have the floor plan I was interested in. But it was very nice. It's a condominium-type setup and several buildings. You need to go outside to get to certain activities. But they deliver dinner to your room and things like that.

It is a comfortable place. They have one group of apartments that didn't have elevators and that they were renting out as independent living. Their apartments were efficient. On the rating of 1 to 10, where 10 is the best and 1 is the worst, I would give it a 7. They also have a very large community center with different functions going on almost all the time. For my needs, that would have been fine. The staff there was also very accommodating and very knowledgeable.

We visited. It was the style that I didn't care for, and they can't change it. It's garden style, and I prefer hotel style. I was impressed. I just didn't like the walk from the apartments to the main building. I saw a room; it was nice. I met one of the sales people, and she was very nice.
