"My mother-in-law has settled in at Parc Place and she is very happy with the place. She recommends it highly. They have lots of activities available. The apartments are updated and clean. It's a very cheerful place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful and she loves it. It was also one of the reasons why she chose this place. "

"StoneCreek of North Richland Hills was two stories, and it was extremely nice. It was very impressive. It is an excellent place to go for people who want a really nice place with lots of really good activities, where people are involved with each other, where they can visit, and make friends. It was beautiful and very well planned. They had very large rooms, a large dining room, and a lot of other amenities. Everybody was happy and nice. The people were very engaged there. They had people in wheelchairs and walkers. Barbi was really good and very experienced. She really knew what she was talking about, explained things extremely well, and was very friendly. We liked her. The other people seemed great. There were people at the front desk. They had check-in and a lot of COVID type policies. It was an impressive place. The facility was incredible. They have a library full of books and a chapel. They have little daily devotionals. I noticed they had a piano. On each floor, there is a little gym. They also had chair exercises that people can go to. They have activities set up. The staff talked about some of the people there, and one of them was in a wheelchair and was able to start walking. I was very impressed, and I'm not easily impressed."

"This is a great place. Everyone is very friendly. I say it starts with management who encourage and are so welcoming. From my first meeting with Peggy and then Megan meeting with us to show my Dad around, we were sold. All of the staff do a great job. My Dad felt like it was his new home. Unfortunately, due to health issues, he had to move to a different community. He says his goal is to get strong enough to return to Eden Estates."

"I have visited Parkwood Retirement Community. It was a pleasant place. The upkeep was great. The person who assisted me was very receptive and very enjoyable to talk to. We were there basically during lunchtime, so we didn't see any activity. They have a very nice salon. I know they have some cooking thing going on that you could be involved in. They have a walking trail nearby, and there's a medical center very nearby."

"It had all three levels of care, but I visited the independent living. They told me that it was only built five years ago. It was good, but the rooms were probably average. I saw the dining area. They had three meals a day and there was a snack area where you could pick up snacks any time of the day. For the size of the facility, the dining area seemed to be small, but they told me that if you would go for independent living, you can eat in the assisted living dining room as well. I met one staff member, and she was friendly. She knew what she was talking about. It looked like an apartment building. It's four stories. It seemed to be clean."

"My mother is now a resident of The Westmore. She is in assisted living and she is at the highest level of care. It is a beautiful community. However, our problem has been that since Mother needs such a high level of care, their response time has been very slow. Not only that, they have emergency pull cords but they don't show you that if you need an emergency transfer that it costs extra. Mother had pushed it for 20 minutes, and it was an hour and a half before they responded. Most of the staff are nice, but other than that, I really can't say too much to it. They have a doctor that comes in twice a week, so that's nice. If the resident needs to see a doctor, then they don't have to go out. There are some really nice things about it, and it is a nice place."

"We have signed a lease to go to Attiva Park. It’s under construction right now, but they have just recently renovated all of the rooms, the apartments and the duplexes or the column cottages. They’re all very clean and very neat with new appliances. The office people are extremely friendly and helpful. "

"I'm at The Waterford at Fort Worth. They're good. I think they're one of the best I've ever been in. The staff is very caring. The food is good. It's very clean. If something gets spilled or dropped, it's cleaned up right away. I've been in places where I worry about spills and falling in the spill, and there's none of that here. They're very attentive. The activities are good. They're better than most. They have dominoes, cards, and I really enjoy the bingo. There's usually something to do, even on weekends. It's a very good value."

"Heritage Place Retirement Community, located in Burleson,TX is also for assisted living arrangements with various levels of care. The building is located in a complex with other facilities including a hospital and a nursing care center. Heritage Place is a 4-story building with 35 + rooms on each floor. They have a nice, large multi-purpose room with couches and chairs for group singing and other activities. They house a large dining room with three good meals each day if one so desires rather than preparing a meal in their own room. They do not take Medicaid. It is private pay, only. "

"She is at the Conservatory at Keller -- very nice, very friendly, well-kept -- and the residents all look very happy. The rooms were very nice, very large, and spacious. It is a very nice restaurant-style dining. They have many activities scheduled, and they have different areas that they are all taking place in; it's very active. "

"I went to Atria Grapevine. What I liked the best was that everyone was very friendly. We got to meet all of the different people on the staff and everything was very organized. The cleanliness was great. The structure was okay, but it was three different floors. I know some people probably like that. They had elevators. The rooms were nice and big, so I think it would be a great place to live. I felt welcomed and I felt like they cared."

"My mom moved into Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. It's clean, and the meals are pretty decent. The staff has been very helpful and even allowed an interim day to accommodate my mom. They have been super friendly. They're kind of going into transition right now and the maintenance staff is being upscaled as we speak. They have a lot of activities. They have a chapel and one of the local Catholic churches come in to do communion service. It's pretty easy to get in and out of the place."

"Remington was very nice but the apartment I looked at was way too small. The staff was very nice and it was a pretty community. I saw the exercise room and I liked it. I saw the swimming pool and they told me about some of the activities. I was shown a large dining room where you could have your family. "
