"Cedar Trails Senior Living Community was a great place, but it was further away for us. The staff was extremely nice. They did everything. It was clean. Everything was great about them. They're well-known for their multiple activities with memory care people. It's in the country."

"Charter Senior Living of Troy was very clean and pretty quiet. The residents that we saw there were involved in activities and stuff. They looked like they were having a pretty good time. We got to talk to one of the residents that we actually knew, and she's been there for ten years and she really enjoys it. The staff was very knowledgeable, very accommodating, and forthcoming with any questions that we had. The building was very lovely. It was pretty modern, up-to-date, and very clean. The one room that we saw was pretty average in size for a one-bedroom, but it was nice."

"My mother is in Garden Place Senior Living - Millstadt Community. It's in a neighborhood rather than in a business park. It's only one level and only has 36 clients. It smells good. The staff seems to be very good and it has good food. They have regular meals and they often have ice cream socials. They have activities like Bingo, chair yoga, and mindfulness. They have celebrations for the holidays and they have a system where they give the person a dollar every time that they show up to one of thes activities. They can spend their dollars in a store there where they can buy cookies, toiletries, or different things. It's a good incentive. It seems to work for my mother to get her to attend things. They seem to be responsive to my mother's needs. They keep us informed of what's going on with her. They tend to feed the residents a lot of sandwiches and soup, but that's what they seem to like. The staff is well-trained, they're good at their jobs, and they care about the clients that they have. It's well worth the price. She's independent, and she's still able to do most everything for herself."

"I chose San Gabriel Memory Care for Mom. I like the atmosphere. It looked very upbeat. It had a very cheery air out there. They hit all the marks. They had everything. Everything looks right. They had big open areas. They even had a dog walking around there, which I thought was a good touch, and another aspect of comfort. The staff was very pleasant and nice."

"The rooms at The Villas at St. James were really nice. The courtyard/outdoor areas were really nice, too. The place was very accommodating for someone with pets. Some of the rooms actually have a glass patio door where you can just let your dog outside to use the restroom, or you've got private parking where you can just park and kind of come in your own entrance. The staff was great and very friendly. The facility was very clean. It smelled nice. The rooms were a good size. They had a library, a beauty shop, fun-looking activities, and just comfortable spaces to sit in. It felt very homey and very inviting."

"I went to Reflections at Garden Place. It was a very, very good place. I like the person I interviewed with. She was great. I like the fact that there were only 19 people there. But the bad part was that my husband would have to be able to walk with one person assisting him with his walker 45 feet, which he couldn't do. That was the only drawback. The staff was very, very sweet. They were very consistent about saying hello and saying what they did. I like the staff. They were good. It was a ranch-style facility with only two hallways. The dining room and living room were in the entranceway. The cleanliness was great. They had an activity room in the back. Overall, it was clean. It's not as modern as the one my husband is at now, but it was well. And the furniture they had was great, too. They had different-sized rooms and the furniture was great in those rooms and a large bathroom."

"I toured Tower Grove Manor. I liked the rooms. They're just too high for me. The place seemed good to me. They have a community place where you can sit out. The rooms were very nice. The staff was nice."

The food has good taste, good presentation, good quality, and quantity. The facility is very clean and updated. They have bands that come, they have bonfires, they have trips, and they go on all kinds of activities that they do."

"I visited St. Louis Hills Assisted Living and Memory Care. We're pending their assessment of our mom's condition. If that goes well, we will be going there. We chose it because of the fact that they are more engaged with the people there, giving extra care to activities. The rooms were nice, and just the overall staff. At the first level, there's a nice reception area and dining area. They have a movie theater and a community room if families want to come and be with their loved ones. They have an exercise room. They have a beauty parlor, and they have events where they go out."

We are thrilled with the Executive Director, who is organized. professional and easy talk with. She is good with employees and always smiling. The staff is wonderful ..from Maintenance to Housekeeping, Medicine and Caregiving. We adore the MC Director, Tanika, and all the Care, devotion and long hours she puts in caring for my mom and all the residents. She and her staff are the best we have had in all our tenure here and we feel extremely blessed that mom is safe, clean and cared for in every way. These wonderful people are like family to us."

"My mother will do respite care here for the fourth time. I pretty much liked everything about it. The atmosphere as soon as I walked in the door, I just knew it felt homey. I liked the activities that they did and the interaction. She went on the tour with me and they made her feel welcome. I fell in love with the staff. While I was touring, she sat with some of the other residents and she was comfortable there. She ate all her food there. The place was very clean and it smelled clean. It was just like walking in The Hilton."
