"Both of my parents lived here. I was very pleased with everything. Mom and Dad were well looked after and I always got a call if anything was going on. Their apartment was comfortable and the bathroom quite large. I had lunch or dinner with them often and found the food and service as good as any restaurant. The staff was very responsive and helpful. Any time I had a problem, it was solved very quickly. There were lots of activities and entertainment brought in regularly. The hair salon was awesome and mom was always pleased. I always felt like family there and made many friends with staff and residents alike."

"I moved into High Point Residence Tinley Park. It's great. They've updated the building, which I didn't know about until I got here. So, I didn't see anything that was outdated. The staff is limited, but very good. The people who are here are very good. It is supported living, and you really need to accept the fact that it's communal living. I'm only 67, but a lot of folks are a little bit older than that. They have good programs given their budget. They have typical bingo and exercise things. They also have a memory care section. So, these fellows have to take care of both sides. They have outings a couple of times a month. For myself, I'm just a little bit caught in the middle of the millennials and the baby boomers, so I'm seeking some different kinds of activities, a little more active, a little more social. I'm just very glad to be here. The food is awesome. It's three meals a day in a dining room. They've just upgraded their menu a bit. They're short-staffed, but they work really hard and serve balanced hot meals. For people on diabetic diets and dialysis diets, you need to supplement somewhere because it is not a specialized diet. There's a lot of processed food, but it's good."

"Bickford of Tinley Park was very nice, but they only accommodate patients 65 and over, and my brother is 60. The room was beautiful. There were residents playing bingo and other residents watching TV. It was a nice, friendly place. They showed me the exercise room and the physical therapy room."

"I would say it is excellent. The layout is very conducive to my mom having to use a wheelchair and needing assistance at times. The care that I've observed is excellent. The staff is extremely friendly, kind, and willing to go out of their way to help. My mom reports that the food is delicious and she has no complaints or concerns. She's in their assisted living and she has used the salon. The woman there was very helpful and accommodating. She even stayed longer to give my mom a haircut so we appreciate that she worked around my mom's schedule. I think it's a wonderful community for someone that needs assistance. It also offers various levels of care. My mom is highly functional, so she doesn't require as much assistance but knowing that somebody is there when she needs assistance is comforting."

"Victory Centre of Roseland is right across the street from me. It is pretty and decent. The place is very clean. The staff is very nice and warm. They serve you well as far as providing care for the seniors. It's magnificent. They have the usual activities for the seniors. They have arts and crafts and entertainment every Friday, and they have a band or somebody of that sort to come out to entertain them. However, they only have 1-bedrooms. My parents were looking for something a little bit bigger. My mother was looking for something more like a 2-bedroom, with more rooms and more space. "

"Brookdale Orland Park was the best facility that I visited. They just didn't have any space for memory care at the time, but I liked the entire facility, the way that it was maintained, the staff, and the amenities that they have for the seniors. Everything about it seemed perfect and I was hoping and praying that that would be the place for my sister, but it turned out that it was more expensive than she could afford. They had walking paths, places for the seniors to gather and to be able to do drawings/artwork, and a place for theater. Their menus seemed like it was a pretty good healthy menu for the seniors. They had various options if there was a special diet that the senior needed. So, they had the option to change their meal plan. The rooms were very nice. They had a one-bedroom and studios and then they had kitchenettes inside. I felt very comfortable in it and I just thought that it would be a nice setting for my sister to be in the condition that she was at that particular time. The staff were very warm and informative. They followed up with me and did all the things necessary. They even had an area where you can sit out and you could birdwatch. I was impressed with Brookdale Orland Park."

"I went to Victory Center and had a tour because a lot of other people recommended it to me to check them out, so that’s what I did. I liked what I saw, and the staff was great. I spoke with the residents there, and they liked it there. The atmosphere was really nice and loving. There are a lot of activities for them to do there. They have a pool table, and they have a sewing class and arts and crafts. "

"This facility is so beautiful! Every time I pass Evergreen Memory Care I am amazed at how this facility adds so much to the community. It draws your eyes to the beautiful landscaping and cleanliness of the grounds. I have heard such wonderful things about Evergreen from friends who are thinking about placing their loved ones in such loving hands. They have nothing but great things to say about the delicious food that the residents rave about and how kind the staff is!! I would recommend Evergreen to anyone. Keep up the good work!!! I am definitely keeping this facility in mind for my parent when the time arises. "

Friendliness-From the moment we toured the place, we were greeted by friendly faces: Danny, the marketing director, the receptionist Sheila, Paul the maintenance worker, activities director Sheila, nurses and CNA’s, and the residents. 2. Fabulous- As in fabulous food: Food is so important to my mom. She absolutely loves the food and guarantee you’ll smell the deliciousness in the hallways! 3. Fair- As in fair pricing: I toured many assisted living places in my area to find the perfect one. We definitely found it at St. Anthony Majestic Care. 4. Feels- As in feels like home: St Anthony is clean, neat, and fresh looking. It feels safe and secure as well. My mother is blessed to have an entourage of family and friends that visit often. We are all very happy with our choice to place our mom at St. Anthony Majestic Care. It has helped to make this pivotal time in our mom’s life a smooth and easy transition. "As our mother, Sarajane, aged, she needed different stages of help. Initially, she moved from her home in which we were all raised to an apartment for seniors near me, to living with my sister during Covid, to living at Two Hearts near my brother, which opened providentially at the precise time when an assisted living facility was needed for her care. We felt like we had personal family care with each new challenge. As mother aged from her 90s to 100, Two Hearts provided social, physical, and personal care beyond what we were capable of providing for her. We felt like we had an extended family through the owners and caretakers at Two Hearts. "I had a one-bedroom unit apartment in Victorian Village with a kitchenette, a huge closet, and a bath. I was able to stay there and could visit my husband in the rehab unit. The staff was absolutely outstanding. I was spoiled. It was an absolutely beautiful community with excellent home-cooked food. "

"We went to Marian Village. It wasn't a tour, it was sitting down in a media conference room and going over stuff with one of the administrators there talking. It was a good visit, we enjoyed it. We went over my mother's possible needs and what they could offer. They gave us good information and we talked about prices. It was maybe a 45-minute meeting, but it was good and very helpful. The staff who accommodated us was very knowledgeable, she was very helpful. She was patient and very pleasant to deal with. They went over the type of accommodations that they have, the price points, and different care levels. They also went over some activities and the meals for the residents. The facility was very nice, everything was very clean, and well manicured. It looked like a modern facility. It presented itself very well from the outside. As you walked in the building, it looked very nice too. It was very clean."

"I went to Crown Point Christian Village and I like it a lot better than the others. I like the bedrooms, they're much bigger. The dining area looks very nice. The staff seems very friendly."
