I was a resident of Victory Centre of South Chicago for 10 years. The staff were all nice. All the managers from the other building were nice to us. They had a lunch thing downstairs, you can go in and buy your food if you want. They could serve a meal, but we cooked our own food, too. If we didn't feel like cooking, then we could go downstairs and eat in the cafeteria. The facility was nice and clean. They cleaned up every day. They kept everything cleaned up for us. The janitors were nice. They helped us with everything we asked for. Anything we need to be moved out, they moved for us. They did everything for us. We played bingo and solitaire. We played everything up in that building. I loved it. That's why I said if I have to, I will go back. That's why I had to keep my name on the list and she said she'll keep me in touch when a vacancy becomes available. I told her my daughter was going to have surgery, and then I would go back to that building. That building was so nice. Everybody was friendly with no problem. I enjoyed that building.

I will say this JUST WALK IN!!! The energy of this place is amazing. The staff is amazing , friendly, loving and kind. My mother has made new friendships and that's what my family was looking for. Lauren will help you from start to finish with the application and paperwork to make sure the process isn't overwhelming. The nurses have been amazing. Sharee at the front desk is breathtaking with joy. Mr. Shell was very patient and understanding with mom during her lease signing. This place has a great team!

This place is amazing!!!! Lauren Heard my need for my grandmother and got her in quick. She followed up and made sure everything was done from start to finish. This girl energy is unheard of and I love it. My Brother took sometime off work and wee only had a week. I walked in and she was dancing with the residents at her event, I can tell they love her. Her EMPATHY/energy is everything to my family and I cant thank her enough. She didn't feel rush and had patience to deal with this quick... Great decision!!!

Victory Centre of South Chicago was nice. When I came in, they had a band playing. It was cool to see letting the other people who live there interact and hear music back from when they were growing up. I love the activities that they had going on there, too. The person who showed me around was very upfront, very friendly, and just very straightforward in terms of what it was going to be like and what the places looked like. I only saw a studio apartment and it was very nicely put together with low countertops and smaller refrigerators. They had the place where the band was playing, so that's their music place. They also showed me an open area for just relaxing, do board games, or just watching TV. They had three or four open spaces. They offer transportation for the people who live there, to get to and from the store or to get to and from a doctor. The facility was very nice and clean, nothing was unsanitary, and nothing smelled bad. Everything was very well put together. The area was a little bit rough around the edges, but the building itself and the staff were good.

I can't think of the young lady name but she was pregnant and tall. I was so overwhelmed and she calmed my nerves about placement for my mom and gave me a new view on how to look at things. The room was clean that she showed me the Building smelled refreshing. Her personality was great and the things she stated about the staff that worked there was reassuring. The residents had a great attitude about living there one lady stated she lived there 7 years and she loves it. Im looking to move mom in once her lease is up and hopefully im not to late because I can see why people love it there..

Victory Centre of South Chicago was a lively place. The staff and the rooms were very nice. It almost had a hotel feel to it. The young lady took me around and showed me their activities and they have a lot going on. She was telling me about a prom night coming up in May and a casino night in June where friends and family could come in and play some games. They had a lot of people that were in the lobby area and everybody looked to be enjoying each other's company. It was nice.

From start to finish the experience has been beautiful. The amount of empathy shown throughout our process is unheard of! I can’t thank Victory enough, Loren the marketing manger has walk us through everything patiently/ at times providing me with the ability to smile when I wanted to cry. I feel comfortable moving my Mother to her “forever home “.

The rooms at Victory Centre of South Chicago were very nice, clean, and had a nice view. The heat was ample. They had a ping-pong table, a pool table, games, television, and stretching exercises. The food was ample and scheduled, but you can always have soup or something else, and that was readily available for eight to 10 hours. The staff was excellent in explaining everything.

Mom is at Victory Center of South Chicago for about a month now. They've done a great job in addressing her needs and she is very happy being there. It's a great place. They have fitness, social, and trips.

What I like most about Victory Centre of South Chicago was that it was close, and all of the people had pleasant personalities. One thing I did not like was the room. It was big, and you have to furnish it yourself. It is nice for those who live south. It is a perfect place.

I went to Victory Center and had a tour because a lot of other people recommended it to me to check them out, so that’s what I did. I liked what I saw, and the staff was great. I spoke with the residents there, and they liked it there. The atmosphere was really nice and loving. There are a lot of activities for them to do there. They have a pool table, and they have a sewing class and arts and crafts.
