My father-in-law had stayed in Majestic Care of Saint Anthony AL respite. They had a chapel at the location so he didn't have to leave to go to church. That was a big thing and they have their daily mass, and then they have Sunday mass. The staff was great. They were helpful. He had no complaints either. The facility was fine. It was clean. What I saw there was damage to walls or something that wasn't repaired. When we came on tour, it was snowing, and it was icy outside and kept coming in on people's shoes and they were cleaning it up right away. They followed up after my father-in-law got home to see if there was anything mentioned my father-in-law liked or didn't like. I know that they always had something going on every day. They had a hot Tuesday Mardi Gras kind of thing the night before lunch. Then Wednesday, it was Ash Wednesday and he went to mass and got his ashes. He did tell me that he ate when they did Fat Tuesday cause they had all sorts of desserts and fun stuff. The price was reasonable and it wasn't outrageous.

I toured Majestic Care of Saint Anthony. It was just older compared to some of the other ones. It wasn't bad. It was not as updated as the other ones that I have been for my mother and father. The staff was very nice. They were very informative and they were very nice. They answered all my questions. They showed me the whole place. So, I had no problems with them. They have one room for exercising.

The care in St Anthony is marginal. My father routinely sat in soiled incontinence wear for hours, constantly ringing for help. Medication was administered without authorization by the family. The administrative side is appalling. No communications between departments and an apparent fued with the VA. St Anthony was directly responsible for failing to produce records timely to get my father in-home care from the VA, despite repeated detailed requests for two weeks in advance. I would NOT recommend this facility.

I like Majestic Care of Saint Anthony, but I don't have money for that. It was nice and clean. The rooms were nice and roomy. The bathrooms were built for the handicapped. They had a salon. The staff during the tour was helpful, very good, very intelligent, very useful, very knowledgeable, and he explained everything to me that I needed to know. The dining area was clean.

I toured Majestic Care of Saint Anthony. The residents seem happy. The apartments are workable. The staff seemed friendly with the residents. They showed us first the memory care, and it was like a hospital room, and that wasn't working for my sister. They showed us one assisted living place, and that was much better. It had more room in it, where you could sit. You get an empty room and you have to bring whatever you want into that room. No furniture comes with anything.

Majestic Care of Saint Anthony was cozy. The upkeep was beautiful. It was done well. The room was my favorite part. The rooms were huge. I loved the rooms. They were triple the size of what my dad had. The closets were big. The beds were big. The bathrooms were perfect. It was nice. The staff couldn't have been better and nicer. He was awesome. They had daily activities. Once a month, they went to a restaurant of their choosing. They had Christmas and Easter festivals. I'm considering them. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it was two stories that you had to take an elevator. If that wasn't there, I would have already moved my dad in. That's the only thing that I wish had been different.

We went to Majestic Care of Saint Anthony, and that was excellent. Everything was fine. That was the one I would probably go to. I just felt more comfortable there.

Majestic Care of Saint Anthony is wonderful, so I would recommend them to anybody. As for the facility, my brother's room is not real fancy. It's just a fairly decent-sized room with a nice-sized closet. His bed and everything fit in there, and he's content. I know somebody that lives there. She has a living room and a little dining room, and that's like a bedroom that's offset, so it just depends on what you want or what you can afford. My brother tells me that they have people come in and sing, and if it's older stuff, he likes it. He doesn't like to play cards or bingo or any of that. There's a lot to do.

The Majestic Care of Saint Anthony was nice and homey. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. They weren't like hospital rooms. They were like actual apartments. The people there were great. We like everything about it. They had everything, and they had activities.

Four words describe Majestic Care: 1. Friendliness-From the moment we toured the place, we were greeted by friendly faces: Danny, the marketing director, the receptionist Sheila, Paul the maintenance worker, activities director Sheila, nurses and CNA’s, and the residents. 2. Fabulous- As in fabulous food: Food is so important to my mom. She absolutely loves the food and guarantee you’ll smell the deliciousness in the hallways! 3. Fair- As in fair pricing: I toured many assisted living places in my area to find the perfect one. We definitely found it at St. Anthony Majestic Care. 4. Feels- As in feels like home: St Anthony is clean, neat, and fresh looking. It feels safe and secure as well. My mother is blessed to have an entourage of family and friends that visit often. We are all very happy with our choice to place our mom at St. Anthony Majestic Care. It has helped to make this pivotal time in our mom’s life a smooth and easy transition. Thank you St. Anthony Majestic Care.

Majestic Care of Saint Anthony was very clean, very warm, and inviting. The staff that I met seemed very cheerful, knowledgeable, and engaged with the patients. They had activities. I saw the activity rooms. In terms of location, it was next to everything. It was centrally located.

I went to Majestic Care of Saint Anthony Assisted Living. It was very nice. They have 24-hour care there, so that was a place that I was very interested in. They showed me a couple of different rooms, a one-bedroom unit and then a studio unit. The staff showed me the activity rooms and the cafeteria, and showed me how they go about selecting their menus for the day. They also had a menu that was always available. He showed me rooms that could be used for family affairs if you wanted to have a family gathering. It was very nice. The staff was very knowledgeable, he knew the facility in detail.

My brother was at Majestic Care of Saint Anthony, and that's where he passed. It was a very nice atmosphere. The nurses and the aides were very, very helpful, especially to my sister-in-law. The food looked good and there was plenty of it. There was a calendar always posted for the daily events. The facility was clean. There was no smell. They had a nice sitting area, a beautiful chapel, and a snack center that was only open during the week (I think it was limited because of COVID). The rooms were very spacious. There was a desk in there, built-in closets, a bathroom facility for handicapped residents, and a big window. My brother was on the first floor and it looked out into the courtyard. The people in the reception area were very nice. You have to check in and take your temperature. They even let me bring my little dog over to visit. She got to visit there a few times and the residents enjoyed that.

My mother was a resident in assisted living for 2 1/2 years. She was active in all the activities offered. The activities director is amazing. Some of the neat activities that she plans are Mardi Gras, Olympic Games competitions, Mothers and Fathers Day banquets in addition to celebrating holidays and residents birthdays. There is something for all residents to participate in. My mother also attended the rosary service daily and mass when it was available. The nurses were wonderful, caring, and always attentive to my mother's health concerns. Everyone is friendly. The minute you enter the building, the receptionist greets you with a welcome smile. This truly became my mother's second family. I could not have chosen a better place for my mother's second home.

I had an in-person tour of Majestic Care of Saint Anthony. It's very nice, and it's not as expensive. They have activities there. They have bingo and a barbershop. I like the idea that it's right at the hospital, so I don't have to go very far to go to a hospital. The facility looks very clean. The staff was very nice, she's very, very cheerful, and sounds like she's a very nice person to be around. The dining room looked very nice. I like the location too. I feel very good about the community. It felt very homey.

I have a grandma at st.Anthony village, and her care has been awful. My father was told the bruise (large) on her cheek was due to her falling. My grandma hasn't used her legs in year's. The nursing home lost her teeth, my grandma is 101, and blamed it on her. Right now she is laying in bed starving because she only can drink liquid. The catheter she pulls out because it's dirty. When my grandma pulls it out she has poop all over. Please this is a love one and someone at st.Anthony has to be responsible.

We ended up going into St. Anthony Home, which is right next to the St. Anthony’s Hospital. The rooms were big enough, whether you’re on the nursing side or on the assisted living side, that two people could live together, so my mom and my dad would be comfortable. It’s very nice. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and work 24/7. The whole facility is locked down, so they have somebody who actually monitors the doors and check people in and out 24/7, so the whole facility is secured.

My dad was at St. Anthony Home. The staff wouldn’t answer a couple of my questions, like why my dad had to go to the psych unit to be evaluated. I wasn’t happy with them. The rooms were clean, but I wouldn’t send anybody to this facility.

My uncle had been in the rehab side of St Anthony Home. Besides their price being more, I did not think the staff was the same. They didn’t have that same drive to meet the people, that same enthusiasm, that same interest. It felt it was more like a hospital.

My mother is in St. Anthony Home. She seems happy there, and she is in the Alzheimer's ward. They're really good to the people, and they call them by name. She seems content, and she has been there for a couple of months now. We like it because she's familiar with it and it is attached to the hospital. It is a Catholic nursing home where she can go to mass four times a week. They're all single rooms. It's an older place, but they keep it up nicely. They have a really nice area on the main floor -- which is a big living room -- but they should have small private areas for family. There aren't a lot of places to go. The staff is absolutely wonderful.

My mom was at St Anthony Home for rehabilitation. I thought the workers seemed concerned with the residenets and appeared to be very professional. It was a plus that they had single rooms and the place was clean too. I would suggest they improve the timeliness of the laundry, have more activities and more stations on the televisions.

My stay at St. Anthony Home was fine for me. It was just as I expected a facility where I can be helped and supported. The food was good and the rooms were fine. One time I almost fell off my wheel chair, but I was helped quickly by the kind and caring staff members. There were many fun activities there and everyone really supported the Christian faith. The scenery was great. I spent lots of my extra hours meditating outside. It was very peaceful outside. Most of the other senior citizens were friendly and kind. I really appreciated the help I received from those young helpers. The overall cost for living there was not too much. The tradition they had was unique. St. Anthony Home is located in 203 Franciscan Drive, Crown Point, IN 46307. I recommend any Christian senior to come to this great assisted living facility.

This is the cleanest, best smelling residential facility I have ever been in. Add the fact that there are nuns abound and it becomes a perfect, restful, attentive (there were staff on every floor aiding clients, as well as an in house hair salon) place for those to live there restful years in! I would be proud to have my loved one cared for here, and someday even for myself.

The St. Anthony nursing home was a very welcoming place for mother who is a resident. The nursing home is very welcoming and a friendly environment for it is residents, and would be my first choice to help out relatives that I cannot take care of myself. The staff is very congenial towards the residents and are always looking for ways to better the residents and make their lives easier in the process. I have many good comments for this staff considering how little they are paid, and how happy they seem to be at work every day I see them. Due to my mother's Alzheimers she cannot remember me and that makes for a very poignant reunion, but the kind staff was quick to comfort me. The food they serve seems healthy but I am not too sure if it tastes all that great seeing how my mother always asks for me to bring her food the next time I see her. Overall this facility, in my opinion is amazing and deserves a five star rating!
