"The workers at this facility really do care about their residents. The care they provide is very heartfelt and genuine. From the nursing staff, cna's, activity workers, social service , dietary staff, therapy department, housekeepers, department heads and the receptionists. They work hard and treat everyone like family."

"Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation was very good. I liked it a lot. The physical therapy was great. They were very helpful and caring and I felt well cared for. It helped me get on track and get back home. The nursing care was good, and the personnel were good. My room was wonderful. It was a double room, but it was large enough so it felt like a private room. I was not sharing a closet or anything else with anybody else. There was another patient adjacent to me in another room. We shared the bathroom, but she was bedridden, so I had a private bathroom. That was the second time I was there. They had a lot of activities, but I didn't do that much. I know there was a movie every Sunday, and they had ice cream every Monday and Wednesday. The food was pretty good. I liked it. We went to bingo once, but they had other activities during the week."

"I have been very happy with Prairieview. The care there is consistently solid, and you can tell that their main focus is on the residents. Luther Place is always taking residents to community events and even puts pictures in the local newspaper. All of the workers here have a positive attitude, and many are very stong in their Lutheran faith, which is important to my family, as well as to my grandmother who is a resident there. The nursing home is clean, has generous visitation policies and my grandma is seriously happy every time someone stops in to visit her. No complaints at all about Prairieview - we love that place. "

"My mother is in Watseka Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. This is the only place that had an opening in the Alzheimer's unit and took Medicaid. It's a fine place. Everybody is very friendly and very helpful. For the most part, she seems happy there. We have not had any trouble with any of them. The facility is very nice. They've got a couple of patios, a gazebo, and a lot of yards. Once it gets nice, we can take her out. The Alzheimer's unit has its own dining room. It's more like a restaurant. I had lunch with her one day and the food was very good. They have activities for them. They do her laundry, and they have a beauty shop. They offer three meals, and there's a nursing staff."

"My husband has been there for a few years now. He was in and out for a year or so and then we agreed he needed to stay. The staff is kind and caring. The rooms lovely and I feel blessed he is in a good place. He likes to read and there is a sharing library. Entertainment is offered regularly - music / bingo / rides on the bus / outings / services. There is an activity room, beautiful outdoor areas and the community comes for trick or treating, Christmas and other special times. My husband loves the food and often asks for seconds."

"I appreciated the warm ambiance and professional, caring staff of the Applewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Matteson, Illinois where my ailing grandmother-in-law received treatment following a massive stroke. When I entered the doors, I was greeted with smiles from employees and a clean environment. As with other nursing facilities, there was security personnel in the atrium who verified identification for each visitor. It was nice that people could not just saunter in off the street. My grandmother-in-law's room and bed linen was clean each time I visited Applewood, regardless to the time of day. Furthermore, during my visits, I never failed to see a nurse or other licensed employee come in to check on her. It was apparent that my grandmother-in-law was in good hands at Applewood and she never complained about the treatment she received there."

"I just got out Monday 08/04/14. I am only 47 years old and injured in an accident. I was on the physical therapy floor 2nd floor. I feel the staff is very caring and tried to help people when needed. I recieved physical therapy everyday Monday through Friday. The physical therapist are good at what they do and are patient with you. Just a few complaints though. THe furnishings are very dated. I feel the food could be better quality with better choices. I have food allergies and Hector was very accommadating to my needs. I was able to bring my own food. They have a small eating area with a stove the residents can use. Also, by the physical therapy rooms, there is a room with a washer and dryer the residence can use. "

"My Mom has been a resident at Sunny Hill for the past 4 years and in my opinion they do an outstanding job of caring for their residents in a clean and vibrant facility. Having recently completed a total remodel, the facility is clean, bright and sunny from the moment you walk through the front door. The activities are excellent and appropriate to all interests. The staff is friendly and caring. The administration is top notch ensuring the safety and security of the residents in this Resident Centered facility. "
