I visited St. James Manor & Villas. The staff that I spoke to was friendly. The rooms were not homely. They were not comfortable. They felt like hospital rooms. The facility didn't look or feel cared for. The bathroom I used was filthy.

My family member needed physical therapy assistance to be able to return to her original nursing home after she was in the hospital. I cannot say enough, how professional and caring each and everyone was there. Every employee was helpful, pleasant, and caring. I am truly grateful for everything they did for my family member.

My mother is currently at the St. James Manor & Villas. She's there for skilled care. They have a great physical therapy department. The staff is really great. She has a really nice room, and they keep the place really clean. They have exercise classes, and they have different functions throughout the day for the seniors. It's a nice community. She seems to like the food. However, they need painting, they need new carpeting, and they need a lot of new fixtures. They can increase their activities as well. I feel that she's being overcharged for the facility itself.
