I visited this facility

I've been to BRIA of Chicago Heights. It was nice. It was welcoming. They explained a lot of things about the place. They were getting some events ready for the residents. When I went, they were playing some music for them, and they were doing little activities. It was okay. It was clean. The workers were doing their job taking care of the residents. The residents looked clean. The staff spoke to me, and they greeted me.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I was at BRIA of Chicago Heights for rehab and it was horrible. Their food was terrible. Their staff was the ones they could find you pay the least amount to. They didn't have RNs, they had LVNs. In the first room I was in, I had to leave after the first day, because there was water coming in from the ceiling and it was flooding the room. The other room I was in was very small for two people.

I visited the home it was small but very clean. There were friendly staff around that greeted me. Everyone seemed nice.

I visited this facility

Woodside Extended Care was an older facility. It has an activity room which was also used as dining room -- I didn't particularly care for that. The staff was okay; they were cordial and friendly. It was too crowded for me, though. I noticed the smell of urine when I walked in, so that was a complete turn off.
