The staff provide exceptional care for my aunt. At times it can be challenging when caring for someone with dementia but they ensure her needs are met. I commend them all for the passion & patience they have for all the residents in the nursing home.

The workers at this facility really do care about their residents. The care they provide is very heartfelt and genuine. From the nursing staff, cna's, activity workers, social service , dietary staff, therapy department, housekeepers, department heads and the receptionists. They work hard and treat everyone like family.

Pros: Place is clean, staff is friendly, meals are decent. Cons: Doctor on staff is incompetent, likes to withhold pain medication proscribed by other doctors High turnover

My mom has Alzheimer's. The nursing home placed her in the ALZ ward. For some unknown reason, they placed a mentally ill woman in the ward as well. This woman attacked my mom one night, knocking her backwards and causing Mom to fall and hit her head on the tile floor. Mom was sent by ambulance to the hospital for treatment. I was given three differing accounts of what happened. Oh, this happened directly under the Security Camera but unfortunately it was not on....allegedly. My mom is no longer a resident of this place, needless to say.

the place is filthy! food is terrible! the help bad and it is run like a prison and the people are prisoners!! god bless them... illinois close this place down!
