"I did a tour of Asbury Village, and it was very positive. I met the chef who is in charge of the kitchen, and I met one of the resident ambassadors there. She's actually the one that took me on the tour. Then, I got to see everything that they have to offer. But one thing that I was very impressed with is, because they are a methodist supported home, it used to be called Methodist Village, but they decided to change it because people were giving the wrong impression that you had to be Methodist to live there. Their population is actually more Catholic than anything else. They have a very nice chapel there, and they have a priest that comes in every week to say mass, which is important to me because I'm Catholic. What I was looking at is independent living because I am completely independent. I don't need any level of care, but the thing is, I want to be in a place where at some point that I do need that, then it's available. I was not there during any active time when people were like in the dining room or doing activities or anything. It was very quiet that day. They gave me a calendar of activities and they also gave me a menu. If I decided that I cook my own meals to eat in the dining room, then you get a certain amount of credit that's included in your monthly fee that you can use or not."
